Chapter twenty one

                                    

                                          
After picking up kaprial we stayed up and talked for hours before actually falling asleep. 
                          
I jumped up at the sound of banging on my room door, I rolled over and looked at the clock noticing it was already 7:11 meaning Kaprial and I had little to no time to get ready for school. Damn, damn, damn I mumbled trying to shake kaprial awake. she sat up and starred at me blank faced. "were gonna be late, it's already 7:11." I said before jumping out of bed. I grabbed my towel and ran straight into the bathroom to do my hygiene. I heard knocking again and then the sound of my door creeping open as I was brushing my teeth. fuck I groaned rolling my eyes, I New it was my dad ready to yell at me about how we should of went to bed earlier and blah, blah, blah. I sat there waiting for his voice to boom through my bathroom wall but it never happened. after rinsing out my mouth and putting my tooth brush back in place I cracked the door open and peeked through the crack to make sure my dad wasn't out there with his arms crossed ready to give me a speech or something. I opened the door a little further and tried to peek around. "Was that my dad? did he leave?" I asked kaprial who was now wrapped in a towel looking through her clothes. "no" she said pointing to melody who was standing in the front of my room door. "Oh shit Mel I'm sorry, I thought you were my dad with a speech about how I should have went to sleep on time or something but come in." She giggled oh no your fine he was heading out when I was on my way In. "Oh thank God" I said walking over to my closet. I picked out a pair of yoga pants and a hoodie and went to go take a quick shower. after my shower I dried out my wet hair, brushed it into a semi neat bun and then threw on my clothes. 
when I got out the bathroom kaprial was already fully dressed with my book bag and gym clothes in her hands. "Where would I be without such an amazing friend?" I asked before grabbing my gym bag and then grabbing my things from her.
