|Do Yeon's POV|

*phone alarm*

Oh great... time to wake up. I don't know why but I really forgot how it feels like to be lazy and all, but thanks to that guy next door, know I remember.

"Ugh... now I'm a panda." I groan, because the reason why I hate sleeping late is that there'll be always, dark circles around my eyes. And with this kind of appearance, I'm afraid it might scares any children away.

Now that it's such a wrong timing feeling all lazy, and still sleepy, I have to put them aside getting ready for work. I hope I can bear with it the entire day.

And so, I brush my teeth, take a shower, putting on my official uniform which every employees have to wear and getting all ready. Another daily routine. I love my life.

I'm so lucky to work at this dessert shop because Haerin is such a generous boss, letting us who's up early having our breakfast at the shop before it opens for customers. So I wake up early ever since then so that I won't missed out enjoying this privilege.

I wear my spectacles, putting on my sneakers and walk out the house as I locked the door. Just when I thought I could leave peacefully, a very familiar male voice greeted me by calling me 'nerdy' out of nowhere.

I sighed, before I turn facing him. "Yes good morning to you too, ahjussi."

He gave me that nonchalant looks, well, his normal expression to be precise, and his noticeable smirk. I hate it when he did that face. So much.

"Pfft... why 'ahjussi'? Do I look that old to you?"

Okay this guy is really getting out of hand right now. Which is why I hate him so much, plus I'm late for free breakfast. So I won't let this guy holding me back any longer because of this stupid morning conversation.

"If you prefer other than 'ahjussi', then I will call you grandpa from now own. Now you know how I feel when you called me 'nerdy'."

I locked the gates, steal a very unfriendly glance at him before I leave.

"Have a nice day, grandpa Yoongi!"

Should I look back to see his grimaced face? Wait, no. I'm pretty sure he will do that stupid smirk again so nah. Let's just keep walking I don't have time to think about him.

I paid the bus driver right after I he pulled over by the nearest bus stop which also located around the shop. I made my way to the building, and I'm so glad I can make it.

"Good morning everyone!" I greet all the workers there, and as usual, none of them greeted me back. Except this one person. And her name is Jeon Yoorin.

"Well, well, well... Kang Do Yeon. I can't believe this. You're actually 10 minutes late. Either my eyes are having optical illusion or my watch is probably broken, but it's a new record for you."

Yup. That's so her for sure.

"Awhhh what a caring person you are. Thank you for noticing." I scoffed at her, putting away my back sling bag as I take a plate, grabbing some yummy bread and make a latte for myself. Then I look around, finding myself a great spot to enjoy this breakfast.

Just when I thought I would enjoy my breakfast alone, Yoorin suddenly approached me out of nowhere and take a seat opposing me, with her own food and beverage.

"Okay, what's going on? I thought you already had your breakfast."

"Well, I don't want you to be lonely, so here I am! You should be happy by the way because you finally had someone to talk with. Sometimes it's not really good when you only speak with your mind."

I snorted. "Yeah, then what do you called it when you nicely say 'good morning' to everyone but they act like you're nothing, or even invisible."

Even though Somin is my only bestie at the moment, but Yoorin can make a pretty good friend of mine too. She may not be my best friend, but she can be a close one.

Because she's nice. And sometimes she can be savage too.

"Hey, I still don't get it why are you late today? Because I'm getting used to the time where you tend to come earlier than I am."

I really don't want to talk about this because every time that guy came across my mind it always ruined my mood. Welp, guess I just hope that she's a trustworthy person or else I don't know where would I hide my face.

"Wanna know why? It's all because of that damn guy and what he did to me last night." I said, and didn't realised that my sentence sounds ridiculously wrong.

"HE DID WHAT?!"

Her loud voice somehow startles me out, so I immediately hushed her. Including smacking her arm for giving me a heart attack.

"Yah! I haven't finished yet!" I yelled, in half whisper. Thanks to her, all eyes on us. I tried to calm myself down, and continue after we managed to get rid of this unnecessary attention.

"I'm sorry, but you said-"

"I know, what I'm saying." I take a deep breath and slowly exhale, before I continue. "My rude neighbor forced me to clean up his house and his place was hella messy I almost passed out by just looking at it. So that's what happened last night, okay? I know what you're thinking, but it's actually not."

I explained. Thankfully this latte managed to calm me down.

I rolled my eyes away when she chuckles. "Oh! Ahaha... I legit thought that you're making love with some guy."

"No. You're wrong, Yoorin. You're dead wrong."

And nothing makes me feel more relief to see Haerin who finally shows up. She looks so pretty in her floral dress. I wish I can be pretty like her.

"Good morning Haerin-sshi!"

"Well, good morning to all of you too. Have you enjoyed your breakfast already?" She asked. I definitely want to be like her.

"Yes!"

"Yeah I feel like I want to eat more."

We all laughed when one of the workers joked out. It's not really necessary though, but it's actually good to light things up early in the morning.

"Haha... well then, let's get ready to work because we can't hold the line any longer."

And so, the dessert shop is open for customers.

* * *

I was in the middle of serving some coffee to the customers when I accidentally bumped into random person's shoulder. To make things worse, I still had a cup of coffee in my hand, and it spilled onto the person's white T-shirt.

"Oh! I'm so sorry-"

"Yah! Look what you've done to my shirt!"
