Twilight

When I woke up I was greeted with a beautiful sight, Jasper Hale smiling at me. "Good morning, beautiful." "Good morning, handsome," I replied.

I slowly sit up, stretching. "How did you sleep?" He asked. "Like a baby," I replied making him smile.

"We need to get ready, Bella's coming over," he told me. "Wait, she's coming over here?" I questioned. "Yes," Jasper replied. "Edward thought it was only fair, considering that you're here, she should be allowed too."

It was understandable that Edward wanted Bella to become close to the family, just like I was.

I was cut out of my thoughts as I heard a soft knock. "Enter," Jasper told them. The door opened and Alice entered, carrying a plastic bag. "I bought you some clothes, and a towel, so you could freshen up." She gave me the bag. "You can use Jasper's shower, he doesn't mind."

"Thank you, Alice," I said, causing her to smile. "No problem," she replied, before putting her attention on Jasper. "We're going hunting, you, me and Oliver."

"I will be down in one moment," Jasper replied. The small vampire nodded her head before leaving us alone.

Jasper smirked as he looked at me. I was about to ask him what was wrong, but he stopped me, by pressing his lips against mine in a soft kiss.

My arms wrapped around his neck pulling me closer. After a few more seconds, he pulled back, smirking still. "The shower is through the door on the left. We'll be back as soon as we can," he said as I removed my arms from his neck. "When you're finished, go downstairs, the others will be waiting for you." "Yes sir," I replied.

He pressed another kiss on my lips, before moving back. "Now I really have to go." He gently took my hands, placing a kiss on each of them before leaving me alone. I couldn't help but smile. He was such a gentleman.

I went to the bathroom with the towel that was in the bag. I showered, enjoying the hot water running down my skin, the scented shampoo was lovely as well. I was in the shower with my thoughts about how wonderful my life had recently become, all because of Forks. The small town wasn't exciting, though the people in it certainly were.

Once I finished, I quickly dried myself, brushing my teeth, before leaving the room with the towel still wrapped around me.

I jumped slightly as I realised Rosalie was sitting on the bed, smiling at me. "You scared me." "I'm sorry," she replied half-heartedly. "I just wanted to say thank you for last night." "What did I do last night?" I was confused. I didn't do anything special, did I?

"You helped me and Alice sleep." Oh right, I had forgotten Vampires couldn't sleep. "It's no problem."

It was silent for a moment before Rosalie spoke up. "We believe you're a Siren, at least part Siren." "You think I'm a fish?" I questioned. Last time I checked Siren's were mermaids that lured men, more specifically Sailors to their deaths. Mermaids were fish or at least half fish.

"No silly," Rosalie said with a chuckle. "Get dressed and I'll tell you what I know."

I started getting dressed while she spoke.

"Sirens are creatures that have magical abilities. They have the ability to send people to sleep, or even command them to do things using just their voice. They are extremely rare and are only females, though males can carry the gene. They're known to work mainly on males, though powerful Sirens can use their powers on females."

I was dressed by the time she had finished. "You believe me to be a Siren?" I questioned. "We do," Rosalie admitted. "It's the only thing that makes sense."

Strangely this wasn't the weirdest thing that had happened to me since arriving in Forks. I had discovered vampires were real, so of course, Sirens being real must be a possibility.

"You're extremely powerful, Angel," Rosalie said, before standing up. "Now if you excuse me, I have to help cook, again." "Try not to burn the house down," I teased, causing her to smirk.

Once she left, I couldn't believe what had happened. Was I really a Siren?
