Chapter 11 "I know that being annoying is the only thing you're good at"
Laura's POV
Opening my eyes, I instantly felt pain in my head. 
I groaned while rolling to my left, seeing some aspirin and a note on my night table.
I squinted my eyes while slowly sitting up and taking one of the aspirins and gulping it down with some water that was already beside it.
Rolling my eyes, I took the note and started to read it.
Morning,
Hope the headache you have is comparable with the trouble that you put me through last night. ;) 
Don't forget to take the painkillers.

I sat there clueless for a second, unaware of the situation.
What ?
Just than memories from last night started to shoot through my head. 
From when I arrived to the party to where I got drunk because of seeing Diana. I even remember that Maia went away and than Ross ca-
Wait what. Ross ? 
Yes, I clearly remember Ross speaking with me after Maia disappeared. 
What did I even talk about with him ?
I remember that he took me to a room upstairs but that's where it all starts to get blurry. 
I just have that one scene in front of my eyes where Ross has both of his arms on each side of me on the wall.
I widened my eyes while standing up, holding a pillow against my face and scream into it frustrated. 
NO no no no no no no no no.
That did not happen.
Come on, it obviously didn't happen. Of course, I mean, it couldn't have.
I tried to make myself calm by just saying that it was my drunk self that was making up scenarios that I'm most afraid of.
Looking back to the note in my hand, I saw the 'R' at the end of the note again.
Frustrated, I ran a hand through my hair and just than I realized that I'm still wearing my dress from last night. I looked around in my room but everything was as usual. Just one thing was unfamiliar.  
A jacket. There was a jacket on my chair. It was clearly not mine though, I mean it was obviously the jacket of a guy.
Which brings me to another question, which is; How did I get home ?
Gosh, I'm such a mess. It's all because of Diana ..
Flashback
"Ohhh, look who's here.", I heard someone say and I didn't even have to turn around to see who it is. Diana was standing in front where Maia and I were sitting with a grin plastered on her face. 
I felt myself get tense by just hearing that voice. I rolled my eyes , "Do you have anything important to say ? If not, just keep walking."
"Oh come on. Have you still not gotten over the past ? You still don't like me ?", she said with a pejorative tone.
"Me ? Not liking you ? The only thing that I don't like about you is that constant inhaling and exhaling habit you have.", I smiled at her.
Her smiling disappeared and she glared at me, "Shut your mouth, would you ?"
"Weren't you the one who addressed me first ?", I said while continuing to smile. "Since you were the one who addressed first, you should also be the one to go first."
"Whatever, Marano. We'll see eachother in one way or another. Maybe I'll bring our friend with me next time, you know the one with who you also have some kind of relation with.",  she winked at me.
Well, you know, I'm not the one to use violence. But she made me want to slap her so hard in that very moment. How dare she ?
Maia quickly got a grab of my hands and looked at me worried before she turned to Diana, "How about you just piss of ? I mean I know that being annoying is the only thing you're good at but please get a hold of yourself."
"Well, I-", she started but someone shouted her name in the crowd so she just stopped and walked away.
"God, Laura I'm so sorry that we had to meet her he-", Maia said while she turned towards me but I was already gulping down the burning liquid. 
"Promise me one thing; Don't take me home until I'm drunk."
"Laura come on, it happened a long time ago, pl-"
"Maia, please.", I pleaded since I knew that she was gonna stop me from drinking. 
One thing that you have to know about me is that I'm a weak drinker. I only drank once in my life and that was accidentally. So drinking it made me immediately dizzy.
End of Flashback
Why the hell didn't Maia stop me ?
But the most important question is what happened last night after he came came closer ? Did we kiss ?
How the hell am I going to find that out ? It's not like I can ask him casually...

Well well well, I'm such a terrible writer, I'm sorry guys.
