*Cas's POV*

I woke up to an empty bed, where's Dean? I sat up quickly but relaxed when I saw that he had left me a note.

"Cas, I went to Sam's house, he needed me. Be back soon. -Dean" I smiled. He's adorable. I untangled myself from the sheets and went to go make breakfast for three. I hummed along with the radio as I unsuccessfully tried to make mickey mouse shaped pancakes. I heard footsteps and turned around to see an exhausted girl.

"Morning, sunshine." I said laughing, she looked like the Grudge. She grumbled something unpleasant and plopped herself down at the table.

"Where's Dean?" She mumbled.

"At Sam's house. I guess he needed him or something. I don't know but he said he'd be back later." She nodded and put her head back down on the table. Once the oddly shaped pancakes were cooked, I served them to Madi and went to sit on the couch and find something good on the TV. Nothing is ever on this early in the morning. Once I went to take a bite, my phone rang. I rolled my eyes and stood up to check it. Private? I answered.

"Hello?"

"Hello, Castiel. Would you like to talk to your boyfriend for the last time before he dies." I gasped. What's going on?

"Who is this?" I yelled into the receiver. Madi poked her head around the corner and her cocked her head. I turned around and waited for the person to answer.

"Don't you remember? It's your old friend, Crowley." I could feel a knot grow in my stomach.

"Why are you doing this? Leave us alone!" I yelled once again. I put my hand to my mouth to stop the sobs. "Let me talk to Dean." I whispered.

"Alright." He laughed and I heard coughing and heavy breathing.

"Cas?" I heard Dean whimper. You could hear the pain in his voice.

"Dean, where are you? What's going on?" My mind was a mess of possibilities of what could be happening right now.

"No clue, it's like Funky Town in here." My eyes widened. Dean taught me code words incase something like this happened. He was at an abandoned building with a gun to his head.

"Dean, don't worry. I'll make sure you're okay!" I said and ran to our room, phone still in hand.

"No! I don't want you to get hurt or killed." Dean took a shaky breath.

"Dean, nothing's going to stop me from saving you." I said before hanging up. I pulled on some pants and a shirt and ran into Madi as I was exiting my room.

"Where are you going?" I took a deep breath, I don't want her to worry about me getting hurt. If anything happens to me, she'd have no one.. I shook my head.

"Don't worry, I just have to get Dean." I said as I was pulling on my shoes.

"You said you were sav-"

"Don't worry. Keep the doors locked, don't answer the phone unless it's me or Dean." I said before walking out the door. I was going to have to run because Dean took the Impala. An idea came to my head, the neighbors have a bike. I'll probably get in trouble but I'm saving lives! I ran into their yard, grabbed the bike and rode down the street swiftly. The only abandonned building I could think of was the one near the lake I always used to go to. Once I got threre, I threw the bike to the ground and ran inside. "Dean?" I yelled. The only sound I heard was some birds flying. I put my head in my hands but looked up when I heard footsteps. Sam was running at me.

"Cas! Thank God you're here!" He said, wrapping his arms around me.

"Where's Dean? What's going on?" I demanded. I didn't mean to sound rude but his life was in danger.

"Crowley hired a demon to kill Dean because of something. Crowley wouldn't tell me what is was. They're over in this room, come on!" Sam said quickly and grabbed my wrist, pulling me in the direction of the room.  I instantly knew what this was about. Crowley said he was going to do something about Dean and I being together. I didn't know he would go this far. We got to the room where Dean was, the door was locked. I started to bang on the door, yelling for Dean. I threw my shoulder into the door multiple times. As I went to do it again, it swung open, knocking me to the floor.

"Hello Castiel." Crowley said, standing above me with some other man. I looked over and saw Dean tied to a chair, beaten and battered. Dean looked at me and I saw the tears well up in his eyes.

"Let Dean go, kill me instead." I demanded quietly. I couldn't yell.

"No, I'd rather see him die and watch you slowly become more and more depressed. I said I didn't like faggots and you just had to push me to do this." Crowley said, smiling. He turned and punched Dean in the gut. Dean winced but he didn't yell. "Take care of him." Crowley said to the other guy and turned back to Dean. I slowly got to my feet and lunged at him but was forced against a wall.

"Leave us alone!" I yelled, struggling to break free of the insivible force holding me to a wall. He just chuckled as I began to choke. I couldn't breathe. I looked over to Sam who put his hand up and began to focus on the man choking me. He whipped his head around and began walking towards Sam but stopped. His eyes widened as a thick black smoke fell out of his mouth in tiny puffs. I looked towards Dean who was kicking his feet at Crowley. I looked back at man and he was laying on the floor with Sam standing above him. Crowley whipped his head around to see his companion. I fell back onto the floor and began to cough, I could breathe, the force was gone.

"No, no no no.. No!" Crowley yelled as he began walking towards Sam. I stumbled to Dean and quickly untied him. Dean stood up and jumped on Crowley, pushing him onto the floor. I turned away as he beat him to a pulp. Minutes later, I felt arms around my waist. I turned to see Dean smiling.

*Dean's POV*

I smiled as Cas turned around. He did it. He saved my life as well as Sam's.

"Thank you." I said before kissing his lips softly. I pulled away and walked to Sam. "How the hell did you do that?" I asked in a demanding tone.

"I don't know.. Don't ask questions, we need to find dad." He said, turning to run out of the room. I grabbed Cas' hand and followed behind, yelling for my dad. We found him about fifteen minutes later with a bag over his head. At least he wasn't hurt. We all walked outside and I looked down and began laughing.

"What?" Cas asked, cocking his head.

"Did you ride this here?" I asked, pointing at the pink, flowery bike in the dirt. Cas' face turned bright red.

"I wasn't running." I laughed and said goodbye to my dad and Sam before walking back to the house with Cas.
