[Day 116]Hoseok squints his eyes as he plays rather enthusiastically with the pacman machine, sticking his tongue out in concentration and missing the weird glances Jackson and Namjoon are currently giving him.
The cafe is nosier than it was last time, back when Hoseok thought he had no chance with Yoongi and now look at him, smiling to the world more than ever.
Namjoon thinks it's disgusting and that he'll regret it, Jackson agrees with Namjoon, but doesn't want to discourage Hoseok so he just smiles and nods along.
"So, what exactly are you guys now?" Jackson holds a smoothie much like last time and takes a long sip of his drink.
Hoseok smiles and shrugs, "Does it matter?"
Namjoon frowns and narrows his eyes, this isn't looking so good, "Are you like boyfriends then?"
Hoseok groans and turns to face to his friends, clearly agitated with them. Can't they just let him play in peace? "Look, it's really not as simple or easy as it looks."
Jackson laughs and raises a brow, "Yea it is, it's just a simple yes or no question."
Hoseok rolls his eyes, "Guys come on. We're both adults now, we don't do that whole boyfriend shit we did back in like fucking middle school. We both like each other, meaning we have no reason to label what we are."
This is not good, nope. "This is coming from the same guy who believes in soul mates and in love at first sight." Namjoon says it as a statement not a question and it makes Hoseok feel guilty.
Jackson nods in sympathy, "Are those your words or Yoongi's, Hobi-hyung?"
Hoseok is angry now, he gets it. His friends since childhood are worried about him and he knows perfectly well of what he's said in the past, and even though he still likes to think that way it does not mean that he has to label his relationship with Yoongi to satisfy his friends or society.
"I know what you guys are both thinking and I appreciate the care and thought. But, Yoongi and I are perfectly fine the way we are."
Jackson makes a face and steps away, "Dude, your gayness is showing." Namjoon takes a step back and grabs Jackson's smoothie to drink from it, he ignores Jackson whining.
Hoseok opens his mouth and throws his hands in the air, "You fucker! You're as gay as me, I bet even more! And besides, you've been after Mark's ass since high school and you've just barely started dating him so you have no right to say anything."
Jackson has wide eyes and a hand over his chest, looking very much resentful at the moment towards Hoseok. (What a friend, can you believe that!)
Hoseok turns to face Namjoon and points a harsh finger at him, "And you. You have never been in a relationship before and lusting after Jin-hyung. So I am more than sure that you both have no say in giving advice on modern relationships." He huffs and pulls his shirt down in emphasize before turning and leaving the cafe.
Namjoon and Jackson turn to stare at each other, both with wide eyes. "I have not been lusting after Jin-hyung!"
"I have not been after Mark since high school!"
Both look at each other and avoid eyes when they realize that yes, they have been and shit Hoseok was right about them. Still that is no excuse for the way Hoseok treated them with such disrespect.
"We're all in trouble aren't we?" Jackson asks.
Namjoon nods, shaking his head afterwards and leaving to look for Hoseok. Jackson stays behind taking another sip of his smoothie and praying to whatever God is out there to help Hoseok.
