A fresh start- 1

                                    

                                          
It was my junior year of high school and I planned on having the best year ever. 
                          
I look in the mirror one last time before I left "you got this Alyssa, go have the best first day ever" I said attempting to boost my confidence.
                          
Little did I know I was about to meet someone who would change my life forever. 
                    *skip to school* 
I walked up to my group of friends and smiled 
                          
"hey guys, what's up?" I said. "Alyssa!!!" screamed Olivia. 
"heyyyyy" we both said in sync and gave each other a big hug. 
                          
Olivia has been my best friend for years now, I honestly don't know what I'd do without her. What can I say, a girl needs someone to tell her when she's got bat in the cave. 
                          
I was talking to my friend, Max when I felt Olivia nudging my side with her elbow. 
                          
"Look!!!" she said directing her head in the direction of a very attractive boy who looked about my age. He had brown hair that was perfectly flipped to the side with a streak of red running swiftly through it. 
                          
Dang.
                          
Max brought us both back out of our little day dream "guys don't even think about it... that's Ethan Dolan, He's a jerk" he said annoyed 
                          
I shifted my feet a little. "You know him?" I said blankly, still looking at Ethan. 
                          
"Yes, and I know he's nothing but a player when it comes to girls. He's bad new Alyssa... trust me, you don't wanna mess with him" he said looking at me intently. 
                          
I looked down at my feet and took a deep breath "wasn't thing about it" I said while exhaling and looking back up at him one last time. 
                          
What does Max possibly have against Ethan?
                          
"I was" Olivia laughed. I smiled as She and Max walked into the building talking about their class schedule, leaving me in the parking lot of the school. 
                          
"Wow thanks guys" I said sarcastically under my breath as I took out my phone to check the time. It was almost time for class when I felt someone tap my shoulder. 
                          
"Good morning Ms. Taylor" said Mr. Pooman (the principal) while shooting me a closed mouth smile. Standing beside him was Ethan. He was even cuter up close and tall, very tall. He ran his finger through his beautiful brown hair and put them back in the pockets of his jeans as he looked at me. We held our gaze for awhile but it was interrupted when Mr. Pooman cleared his throat causing us to both look away. 
                          
"Good morning" I said smiling trying to act as normal as I possibly could. 
                          
Great job Alyssa.
                          
"This is Ethan Dolan, a new student here" he said motioning  his head towards Ethan even though he was standing right beside him. 
                          
"Do me a favor and show him around the school a bit would you?" He said smiling. 
                          
What..
                          
"Sure" I said with a small grin while repositioning the heavy bag on my shoulder. 
                          
"I knew I could count on you" he said and with that he walked away. 
                          
"Hi, um I'm Alyssa" I said. 
                          
"Ethan" he said with a small grin looking into my eyes intently. 
                          
I could feel my face turn red and I quickly turned towards the school hoping he wouldn't notice. I can't fall for him... not someone my best friend warned me about. I frowned and looked at my feet as I remembered the conversation. I cleared my throat trying to blow it all of. 
                          
"So, what's your first class?" I said turning back around to face him but avoiding eye contact because I knew if I looked into his beautiful eyes, I would surely get lost....But you have to be lost in order to be found. Right?
