When Ira saw our new friend, she started to hyperventilate. Her frightened reaction wasn't the least bit comedic because in her hysteria, she jumped onto Devan clinging onto his face like a lifeline.
"Ira" I said gently. "This grey."
Her eyes bulged from their sockets as she looked up at the fwarg that I was petting.
Dilan laughed and ruffled my hair. "Stop torturing her, Aria."
Grey returned the gesture, but instead of ruffling his hair he ruffled Dilan. I stiffled a laugh as Grey rested his head on Dilan, satisfied with himself.
"Haha. He doesn't like you." Devan said but with Ira's frightened hands in his mouth, he sound more like.
"HawhaHayayeyiku. "
"Very funny. Now could you get it off of me? "
I narrowed my eyes at him. "Fine, could you get Grey off of me? "
Dilan dusted himself off and frowned. "Now. What do we do with it? "
"What do you mean? " I said visualizing Grey being used as a meal. Dilan wasn't a bad person, but he wasn't an animal lover either. I put my hand protectively around Grey. Well, as far as it could go around him anyway.
"I mean how could he be of use to us."
As if on cue, Grey let out his firey breath right above Dilan's head. Dilan gave the fwarg a look that could bore holes, Ira who had been doing a good job at stretching Devan's face passed out in his arms.
Thick silence hung in the air as Dilan and Grey stared at a each other. Dilan's grey orbs boring into the fwargs' magenta pools each daring the other to make a move.
"Okay. It will train with you." He said to me finally, his eyes still trained on the fwarg.
"You're going to train both of us? " I said, surprised. He would take both of us on? Maybe he's had a change of h-
"No." My thoughts were cut off by the resounding no. "You will train it yourself."
"But I have no experience in training fwargs." I looked at him and his expression read You can't do it.
"Fine." I huffed. "I will train him myself. "
And that was what I did. I was offered no help from his highness and spent so much time on Grey that I almost forgot about my father, but the prince, being keen on keeping his promise didn't let that happen.
I was about to turn in for the day, but before my hand reached the doorknob, I was spun around on my heels and pinned to the wall.
I was about to burn my attacker, then I saw it was the prince, grinning mischievously as he pinned my hands to my sides.
"I told you I wasn't done with you yet, Aria. Remember?"
"Y-yes." I said looking looking at the ground like it was the most interesting thing around. I mentally chided myself sounding weak. Why are you stuttering?! I screamed at myself.
"So." He freed one of my hands from his grip lifted it to my chin, lifting my head so my only choices we're either to drown in his eyes or close mine.
I chose the later.
He chuckled. "You don't have to be scared you know." Scared? Bah! I wasn't! A little bit flustered, but scared? No!
I opened my eyes and looked up to him defiantly, but then I was met with grey pools staring down at me and my knees suddenly felt as weak. We were very close then, our noses touching, his chest pressed up against mine.
"There is nothing wrong. I was just, thinking." My voice was growing weaker by the second
He leaned in closer to me and the corner of his lips curved upward when my eyes widened.
"Thinking about what?" A lump rose in my throat as he drew me closer, if that was even possible. His hand was in my face, caressing my cheek softly. My skin under his thumb tingled.
"Girl things. It's none of your business." His eyebrows rose in amusement.
"Or" His eyebrows rose further. "You are hiding something from me. Something important."
How he came to know, I had no idea, but If he knew more than that it was important, he gave no indication. Meanwhile, I was working busily in my head on figuring out what to say, while battling the torrent of emotions building up inside of me.
This is seduction! What kind of game is he playing?
Then his arms left me.
"Don't worry. You'll tell me, soon enough. " He looked determinedly at me and his words held promise. Without another word he left the hallway.
I stood there for a while, waiting for the feeling to return to my knees, and when it did, I scrambled into my room collapsing in exhaustion on the bed.
Even then my skin was still tingling. I would have to tell him sooner or later. But why not sooner? The answer was clear. If I did, he wouldn't trust me. They all wouldn't. I was supposed to save Axen, and my father was the darkness. It wouldn't exactly motivate their trust.
Also, Dilan had resulted to using sly methods to get information out of me. Information he had the right to know but-
I heard tapping on my window. I turned around and saw the devil himself staring back at me.
My father.

Hey, easter bunnies! How has the sun been? I wouldn't know because I have secluded myself in my dark cave(actually my room) thinking up what to write about Dilan and Aria, then I proceeded to retreat further into my dimly lit workshop(the dining room actually which has very good lighting btw) to begin writing.
This is what I came up with. I hope you enjoyed this part of colossal wings. A new chapter is coming out soon. Till next time.
~Thanks for reading<3.
P.s
What are your thoughts about the new cover I made? Would it be a nice change? Or is the current one better?
