Katniss P.O.V.

"Katniss, you need to eat," Mom says.

"I'm not hungry," I say as I shake my head.

"But, Mommy, the baby might be hungry," Willow says. I look at her and smile. She's so sweet, looking out for me and her baby brother or sister.

"If I eat something, would that make you happy?"

"I guess," Willow says with a shrug. "But I will be super happy when Daddy gets all better."

"I know, baby girl," I tell her. We've been here for five hours, and she's stayed just as tore up as I have. She'll be fine for a while, and then she starts bawling. Of course, I cry with her.

"You want to go downstairs and eat with me?" I ask her. "Grandpa's already down there."

"Okay," Willow says. She grabs my hand and I stand up.

"Mom…"

"I'll come get you if anything happens," she says.

I smile at her. "Thank you," I tell her.

"Willow," Mom says. "You make sure Mommy eats."

"I will, Grandma," Willow says. She looks up at me. "Mommy?"

"Yes, Willow?"

"You'd better eat so I not get in trouble with Grandma," Willow says. Me and Mom both laugh a little at her.

"I'll eat, Willow," I tell her. "Come on." She nods and follows me out of the waiting room. We walk down to the cafeteria, and Willow runs over to Haymitch.

"Grandpa!" she squeals. Haymitch pulls Willow up into his lap, and I sit down in the seat across from him. "Mommy, you gots to eat," Willow tells me.

"I will, sweetie," I say, but really I'm just hoping Willow will go upstairs with Haymitch so she can't tell on me when I don't eat anything.

Haymitch shakes his head at me and stands up. "I'll be right back," he says.

"Mommy, where is Grandpa going?"

"I don't now, Willow," I tell her. The baby kicks really hard and I wince.

"You okay, Mommy?"

"Yeah. I'm okay, Willow," I tell her. "But I think the baby is as upset as we are." Willow frowns and gets down out of her chair. She comes over to me and places her hands on the sides of my belly.

"It's okay, baby," she says softly. "Daddy will be okay. Please don't be sad. When you get sad, then Mommy gets sad and her cries and then I get sad and Daddy can't make us feel all better 'cause him is sick." I feel tears fall down my face and Willow frowns at me. "Mommy, the baby didn't listen to me. I told my sister not to make you sad."

I laugh a little. "Willow, I'm not crying because I'm sad," I tell her. "I'm crying because you're really sweet."

"Oh," Willow says. "I'm sorry, Mommy." I shake my head.

"Dont be sorry, baby girl," I tell her. Haymitch walks back over to us and hands me a sandwich.

"Eat," he says.

I shake my head. "I'm not hungry."

"I didn't ask you if you're hungry," Haymitch tells me. "Eat the stupid sandwich." I laugh a little and roll my eyes before taking the "stupid" sandwich from him. I take a few bites and that seems to satisfy Haymitch, but not Willow.

"Mommy, you got to eat it all gone," Willow tells me. She waves her pointer finger at me. "I'll tell Grandma."

Haymitch starts laughing hysterically and I roll my eyes again. That kid.
