Like the last two days, Sang has been sleeping in my room and treating me like a bed. She likes to lay on top of me, where she can sniff my hair and nibble it while sleeping. By the time I wake up, my hair is heavy with her drool. I've been trying to coax her to just sleep beside me, she did agree but I still wake up with her on top of me. The reason I can't breath sometimes but I can't even scold her, she shows her infamous 'Pity Me' look.Today is actually...
"Yay! This is a bitch?"
"No, no, It's beach, sweetie. Why do you say it–" Kota sighed, holding her wrist tighter when she pulled him towards the water. She looked at him with a confused expression, nibbling her forefinger.
"That's what I said"
Owen, as always, choose to inspect the two storey house we rented first. The boys we're bringing our luggages in, as Sang pulls Luke and Kota anywhere. Just like a curious kitty.
"Hey Pookie! Come inside the house and eat first!" I yelled after them. Sang's ear flicked and looked at me before she pouts and gives in.
She let go of Kota's hand and ran inside the house. I sighed and followed her, Sang's energy never seem to cease these past few days, I remembered her waking me up after telling me she wants to play at 2AM.
She was running up the stairs when she was stopped by North's voice. "Stop running, baby. I don't want you to break something"
Ears droop down and tail tuck between her legs, she slowly climb the remaining steps. After what happened at the diner, her passing out and North scaring her, she began listening to every word North says. I am actually happy that now, we have someone who can control her, she doesn't even listen to Kota or Owen.
Nathan chuckled, eyes following Sang until she disappeared from the view. "I salute you, North. I get that you're scary but among all of us, Mr. Blackbourne just tops the scariest list."
Owen entered the living room, looking dead straight at Nathan. "Mr. Griffin, I believe there are still boxes left in the car."
Nathan left the room with an awkward smile because of Mister Stick in the butt as I followed Sang up the stairs. Look at every room, including the bathroom, but never saw her inside.
I sighed when I got to the last room, I turned the knob only to find it locked. "Pookie! Get out of the room, right now." I knocked when she didn't answer. "Sang!"
"Don't worry, it's just Dr. Sean, you can be my playmate if you want." The air suddenly felt chilly, knowing North isn't around to make the air cold, my skin even got goosebumps. Who was she talking to? No one came up other than the two of us. I gulped and cleared my throat. This often happen before, talking to herself but she never locks the door.
"Pookie, can you come out?" I asked, voice slightly wavering. I'm actually not that scared of ghost, I've never seen one but the way Pookie is whispering inside just creeps me out. She's alone!
"You can come in, Dr. Sean. The door isn't locked!"
I twisted the knob, "It's lock–" not. It opened wide revealing Pookie who was bouncing on the king sized bed. Her smile wide, making my own lips lift up... until I remembered what happened just now. I looked at her before I stared at the knob. "Did... did you unlock the door? It was locked when I tried to open it first."
She scrunched her nose as her finger pushed her bottom lip, then slowly shook her head. "No. The lock is broken. It can't be locked, Dr. Sean." she answered and giggled. "You're silly, Dr. Sean. Melissa's laughing at you!"
I scratched the back of my head, ignoring the name she's been spouting. "But... nevermind. Come on, let's go down." Pookie held my hand tightly, making me smile as she waves her free hand, her eyes still on the bed. I looked at where she's staring but saw no one. Now, she's definitely creeping me out.
