Fred and George was right, fifth year is absolutely hectic. All the professors spent a solid fifteen minutes talking about how important O.W.L.S is to our future in the beginning of class. Transfiguration was by far the worst, Professor McGonagall had us practice the Vanishing Spell; which everyone found it difficult except for Hermione. I am not the only one who is stressed out by the amount of work, so Ron, Harry and I spent our entire lunch time in the library. Never have I ever imagine myself skipping meal time for work, but this year is really different. By the time we reached Care of Magical Creatures, my head is aching again. Professor Grubbly Plank taught us about Bowtruckles, tiny pixie ish creature also known as the guardian of trees. I have to admit, the creatures Professor Grubbly Plank shows us are very interesting; but I do miss Hagrid very much...just maybe not his Blast Ended Skrewts.
I walked under the gloomy sky that seems to be reflecting my mood with my friends as we make our way back to the castle. "I just want Hagrid to be back." Harry said in a low voice. "But she did gave us an exemplary lesson though." Hermione pointed out. "But she'll never be as good as Hagrid." Harry said firmly.
"How could you land yourself a detention on Friday! I booked the field for us to tryout our new keeper!" Angela Johnson shrieked at Harry. Now that she mentioned it, I finally remember. I look sympathetically at Harry. "I didn't want to!" Harry said in defense. "Make her let you off on Friday, I don't care how you do it. Tell her You Know Who is a fragment of your imagination or something!" Angela said fiercely and stormed off. "We have to check if Wood is still alive or not, because she seem to be channeling his spirit." I commented. "Do you think Umbridge would let you go?" Ron asked. "I don't think so...but I have to try." Harry said. "Speaking of detention, how was it last time with Umbridge?" I asked. "Er- it wasn't bad. I wrote lines." He said, though I can sense the skepticism in his voice. "I better get going, I have three essays, vanishing spells and counter charm to practice and Bowtruckle to draw tonight." Harry said grumpily and left the table without touching his food. Out of nowhere, Ron let out a groan, "Looks like it's going to rain tonight." Hermione raised her eyebrows, "and that has to do with our homework because?" "Nothing." Ron replied quickly, his ears reddening.
I sank into my armchair in defeat, I still couldn't grasp the concept of Vanishing Spell. It seems like there's a never ending pile of homework for me to finish. "Hey," I felt a familiar presence showing up. Fred took a seat next to me, "Someone seems stressed." He said. "Nah...You know me, I'm just loving life right now!" I said sarcastically. Fred let out a small chuckle and stood up, "Let's go!" "Where?' I questioned as he took my hand into his warm one. "Somewhere fun." He said simply. Fred led me through the grand staircase and to a hallway that would lead to Umbridge's office. We hid behind a pillar, "Shhh..." he said. The sound of clicking heels echoed in the hallway, as the figure come closer, I recognized it was Umbridge. "Do something!" Fred urges. In instinct, I pulled out my wand, "Colovaria." I whispered. Umbridge's hair suddenly turned blue yet she went unnoticed and kept on walking towards her office. The moment she shut the door, Fred and I hollered in laughter, I can feel the soreness in my ribs forming yet I couldn't stop myself from laughing. "That was bloody amazing, Alv!" Fred said amusedly and wiped a tear from his eyes. "Blue somehow makes her pink cardigan popped, don't you think so?" I giggled. "Yea, it blue me away." Fred joked breathlessly.
