Students and teachers gathered in the great hall to hear who became the Tri-wizard champions. People were talking about who they wished it to be and whatnot but Madison sat in silence. The Marauders and girls were discussing it and she just sat gripping the table with Remus and Lily either side of her. "Madison, If it is not me, I hope it is you." James smiled at her. Over the past few weeks, James and Madison had grew closer and she had actually realised she wasn't afraid of him just intimidated by him. They had spoke on numerous occasions but there was still no way in hell he would be allowed to touch her books just yet. 
                          
"Same here. I hope you get it if it is not me." They high-fived and sat back in their seats as Dumbledore silenced everybody. 
                          
"Remember if you are chosen you stand alone. The first task is designed to test your daring; Courage in the face of the unknown is an important quality in a wizard. You cannot back out but, presumably if you have entered you are well aware of the dangerous tasks that lay ahead. Anyway Good luck to those chosen and commiserations to those not. If chosen pleas enter the chamber next door," Dumbledore smiled. 
                          
The Goblet moved into the centre of the room and the torches around the room blew out. The cyan fire glowed and illuminated the room but soon changed to bright red as Dumbledore called out, "The champion fro Ilvermorny is...........Daniel Caniff." Cheers erupted the hall as a tall, curly blone boy jumped up and strolled over to Dumbledore. They shook hands and spoke a little before he exited to the next chamber smiling at students as he passed. 
                          
"Mama Mia." Mary grinned as she watched the boy exit. the girls all rolled their eyes and so did the boys except Madison leaned slightly towards her. 
                          
"I gotta agree with you there, Mary." She chuckled high-fiving her.
                          
"Did you just admit to finding a boy cute?" Both Remus and Lily gasped in shock. The brunette girl shrugged and reverted her gaze to Dumbledore. 
                          
"The Champion for Beauxbatons is......Mattei Johnson!" Cheers from all around the room , Madison standing on her feet clapping loudly for her friend, after they made up two days ago. Him apologising so much that she gave in and forgave him. Remus however only clapped slowly to show he was civil towards the redheaded boy, that his hated, 
                          
"Lastly, The Hogwarts champion is..." The flames spurted into a bright red before Dumbledore clasped the falling piece of Handwriting, "With immaculate handwriting..............

... Madison Parker!" 
                          


                          
Silent.
                          


                          
The room was silent as the girl timidly stood up. The students and teachers all wore flabbergasted looks as their mouths were agape, the only person that was not shocked was Dumbledore who greeted here with a proud and loving smile as they shook hands. "Well done, my dear, now off you pop." he pointed to the next chamber. It only took, Remus, Sirius and James to stand up and begin to cheer and clap for the rest of the people to follow as she entered the chamber. 
                          
"Well done, I am Daniel." Said the blonde boy who stuck his hand out for her to shake.
                          
"Madison and well done to you too." She replied shyly, shaking his soft but firm hand. 
                          
The boy walked into the corner of the room as Mattei came and hugged the girl. "Well done, Madsie, I'm so proud of you." 
                          
"Ditto." She giggled into his shoulder causing him to chuckle at her choice of reply. They released the hug as the headteachers and Minister walked in. 
                          
"Did you put your name in the goblet of fire?" Dumbledore asked Madison calmly. 
                          
"Yes, sir." She replied. 
                          
"Very well done, Miss Parker, I never would have expected you to do so, so I had to check. I didn't think it would be something you would do. With all do respect." 
                          
"No it's okay sir, I wanted to prove people wrong and try something new. Besides I think I can handle it."
                          
"I think so too, my dear." He patted her shoulder as he led her to Daniel and Mattei so a reporter could take their picture and interview them.
                          


                          


                          


                          
Madison entered the common room and was instantly hugged and picked up by Remus who congratulated her over and over again. "Thanks Remus." Lily and the girls along with James all copied Remus in hugging and congratulating her and then Sirius decided to, too. 
                          
"Well done, Madison. You'll do great." He scratched the back of his neck aware of how awkward they were. 
                          
"Thanks." She replied as he walked away. Remus pulled her over to the sofa and instantly pulled out a book he wrapped an arm around her pulling closer so she could read it too like they always did. Sirius sat watching the pair confused. He was confused on how his best friend could sit in that position with a girl and not try and do anything else. When he was to sit with a girl, an arm around them he was either kissing them or about to. Or it was the girl trying to kiss him or his neck or anything else suggestively. But not in Madison and Remus' case. He was also confused on how James was suddenly so close to her too, and Peter yet her wasn't. Whenever someone like the Johnson boy came up to them she would say 'my friends and Sirius'. Why was he not classed as her friend? Was it something to do with him? Did he do something wrong? He didn't know. 
                          
But he was determined to find out. 
                          


                          


                          
A/n- SO this is re-written, rushed and shit because I deleted it by accident.
