As the night continues, we all drink and I begin to feel hazy, not drunk hazy as I've only had one alcoholic drink the whole night but sick hazy, but not a normal kind of sick. "Grayson..." I pant.
"Whoa Kristen, are you okay?" He asks. "You don't look so good." His words echo around my head.
I stare dazed at him finding it difficult to come up with words to respond. "Kristen?" He cups my face in his large hand and looks me over.
"I'm just going to head to the bathroom." I say, stumbling over to the bathroom.
"Kristen, I don't think your okay." He says, grabbing my arm.
"I'll be fine." I tell him, opening the door. "Just wait for me at the bar."
"Okay..." He hesitantly says.
I shut the door but just before it closes fully Ethan jams his foot in the space between the door and the door frame. "Ethan?" I question. "What are you doing?"
"I need you to drink this." Ethan says, pulling the door open and walking into the small bathroom with me. He fills the glass with water from the tap and pours some salt into the glass.
"W...What are you doing?" I question. My right leg caves in and I fall forward into him.
"I'll explain later, just drink." Ethan says, catching me in his right arm. I ball part of his collar in my hand to help prop myself up as the room begins to spin.
"But it'll make me sick." I object.
"That's the point." He replies.
"Kristen!" Grayson exclaims, running into the bathroom. "I just heard."
"Can someone please just tell me what's going on?" I ask.
"Ethan we need to get her home." Grayson says.
"She needs to be sick, get it out of her system." Ethan argues.
"Guys!" I yell. "What's happening to me!?"
"The cheerleaders spiked your drink." Grayson tells me.
"Why?" I sigh.
"You're the new girl, they want to put you in your place." Ethan replies.
"We'll sort out what we need to when we get home." Grayson says, scooping my legs out from underneath me and picking me up.
As Grayson carries me out through the party I look over to the group of girls all stood sniggering and laughing at the state I'm in.
A tear falls from my eye and quickly Grayson wipes it away. "Don't worry, it'll be okay." He says.
"Where are you guys going?" Matt scoffs, clearly he was in on it.
"Fuck off." Ethan says, throwing a punch at Matt's face before opening the door for Grayson to carry me out.
"I can't believe they'd do that." I sniffle, sat on Grayson's lap in the back of the cab.
We pull up outside my house and Grayson carries me inside before sitting me on the counter and wiping away another tear that was sat on my face. "Ignore them." Grayson tells me, moving over to the sink.
Ethan appears in front of me and hands me another glass of the salt water, he rubs soothing circles with his thumbs on my thighs. "How are you feeling?" He asks.
"Scared, I hate throwing up." I groan. "Can you both please leave so I can get this done and over with?"
"I'll be back later, I need to go out somewhere." Ethan says.
"I'm staying." Grayson says.
"No you're not." I snap. "You don't know me well enough to watch me puke."
"Kristen we can argue about this all day if you want." He sighs.
"Please just go."
"Nope." He helps me over to the sink and holds my hair back whilst I force the disgusting salt water down my throats and wait for myself to spew like a volcano.
