[Day 1 -Pt I]

It was a well known fact that Hoseok was a naturally happy person. He was the type of young man who saw the good things in life, he never thought about the negative opinions nor was he one to dwell in self-pity. It was quite common for people to go to Hoseok all the time when they felt sad and needed a little up lifting.

But, Hoseok had a little secret when it came to this positive aura everyone had built around his personality. Hoseok was not completely happy (or so he thought.) This was most likely due to the fact that Hoseok thoroughly believed that his happiness would only be brought in full compensation when he met "the one" (whatever that was supposed to mean).

The reason he believed solely in this idea of happiness with the one was thanks to Sleeping At Last that many would consider rather depressive music. As well as a total misinterpretation of the love story movie, starring Will Smith, The Hitch.

The thing was that even if someone decided to clear up those misinterpretations or give him new music recommendations there was a high possibility that Hoseok would smile and shake his head in refusal. There was nothing one could do about it, and honestly Hoseok liked his views in his favorite artist and favorite movie and he'd also like to keep it that way too.

Hoseok  truly and honestly believed that one day, while he was walking down the street or moving about at his job he would find his other half and they would both fall in love only to live happily ever after.

Namjoon would usually roll his eyes and tell him to fuck off and enjoy one night stands, but Hoseok would retaliate with how he was drooling over the ever so handsome Kim Seokjin (so shut up, Namjoon).

Jackson sided with Hoseok, believing in true love at first sight and was currently trying to convince their office mate, Mark Tuan, that they were indeed soul mates and that it was necessary for the both to fall in love. Mark wasn't keen on believing Jackson, but he did believe that they were in love. He just didn't want to admit it, yet.

And so Hoseok went around living that way, waiting for his beloved other half to find him in some unexpected way (because that's just how it's supposed to be) and smiling to all those who had frowns etched onto their faces.

As he enters his workplace and goes to the very much boring board meeting Hoseok may be, perhaps, about to finally find "the one."

[Day 1 -Pt. II]

Hoseok was trying not to fall asleep, key word on trying, and he loved his best friend Namjoon. He did, he really loved him. But, right about now Hoseok was really wishing upon a star to kill Kim Namjoon and to stop this meeting before everyone died of boredom.

It would be a salvation to humanity if Hoseok went along with his brilliant plan, he'd be known as a hero for the rest of his living days and if he did it dramatically, for the rest of humanity.

No hard feelings on Namjoon, he was a funny and a clumsy dude who Hoseok appreciated very much, but he was seriously contemplating how to murder him via his mind.

"-this is Min Yoongi. My new assistant, he's from Daegu so I'd like-"

Hoseok blurs out the rest of his Jiyong's, words because wow, this guy is the fucking personification of beauty. Hoseok can literally feel his heart stop and his brown eyes are wide as he stares openly at the pale and small man that is smiling, but honestly it looks more like a grimace.

It's like in those romance movies that Hoseok watches with Jackson and Namjoon, pretending not to cry and holding Jackson who is also sobbing while Namjoon plans on how to commit suicide or murder, murder sounds better.

When the cheesy romance music starts playing and everything around fades away into a mist of nothingness and Hoseok believes in God because this Min Yoongi dude is definitely a gift sent from the heavens above. He's not even joki-

"Hey!" Fingers snap Hoseok from his trance and he turns in confusion to Jackson, "Lost yourself there buddy."

Can you blame him? He just saw God. Or a gift from him. Doesn't matter.
