We arrived at Gamdeol Mall at 8:20. Good enough. They brought me to a certain room through a back door which I never knew existed, and then put me in the hands of a girl that was supposed to treat my hand. I was kind of annoyed because they simply left me alone with a stranger even though it was their fault (or their driver’s fault) that my hand became like this.

But there was one guy that I really liked the most among them. Howon. No, it’s not because he’s good looking. It’s because when they were about to leave me alone in the care of the girl, he was the only one that asked me if I would be fine. It looked like he was really sorry that their driver almost killed me. On the other hand, the one I hate the most was really obvious.

After the girl cleaned the wound and wrapped my hand with bandage, I thanked her and searched for the spot where the fan-sign was held. When I saw a certain place with a huge crowd, I was certainly sure it was it. I grabbed my phone and called Emmi.

“WHERE THE HELL ARE YOU????” she screeched, making me wince.

“I’m here at the place. Where are you now?”

“I’M ALREADY AT THE LINE YOU PABO NOW GET YOUR ASS HERE IMMEDIATELY!!!”

I sighed, “Yeah, fine.” I walked towards the huge crowd and squeezed my way to the line, being careful about my hand of course. I don’t know, but I think having a bandaged hand was quite an advantage because some people automatically stepped aside after seeing it. I finally arrived the side of the place, and boy, the line was very long. I guess this Infinite is really famous.

“Yuan! Over here!” Emmi, who was already at the middle of the long line, waved her hand. “Why are you late?”

“It’s a long story, really.” I sighed. I really didn’t want Emmi to know that I was almost killed on the way here, and that would only make her really mad again. I really don’t want that to happen.

“I’m ready to listen.” She narrowed her eyes and crossed her arms. I guess I have no way out.

“Okay. I decided to walk on the way here, and then when I crossed the street, a van almost ran over me. Fortunately, I didn’t die and only got this.” I lifted my left hand, and her eyes widened. “They were good enough to bring me here and treat my wound.”

“That’s nice of them. At least they didn’t leave you to rot, right?” Emmi rolled her eyes and moved along the line. I was really thankful that she didn’t get mad, like what happened in the coffee shop. She must have been determined to not have her mood ruined for this event.

“Good morning everyone,” A voice spoke through the microphone, gathering the attention of every single person in the place. “The Infinite fan sign starts now.”

A few well-dressed boys entered through a door and the people started cheering and waving placards in the air. Since Emmi and I weren’t near enough the stage, we couldn’t see the faces of the boys. Never the less, Emmi started screaming too.

“Yah! I’m going to be deaf if you continue doing that!” I covered my ears with my hands and thanks to my bandages, my left ear was well covered.

Emmi shut her mouth and covered it to muffle her squeals. I laughed and rolled my eyes. “This is actually unfair. I can’t see them because of the placards and stuff.”

“It doesn’t matter, you’ll see them later, and much closer!” Emmi giggled wildly and grabbed my arm to steady herself.

“Annyeonghaseyo!” a different voice spoke through the mic this time. And it seemed vaguely familiar. “We’re Infinite! We hope this event will be fun, and please refrain from pushing each other, okay? We wouldn’t want our dear Inspirits to get hurt!”
