I run outside, joining John and Bria at the entrance to the Pack House. They're both blocking the way for the guys trying to walk in. I join them, pushing the main baddie backwards. After looking closer, I realize the guy I pushed was Mark.

"Oh look, it's little Miss Sunshine." Teases Mark.

"It's Sunrise. If your gonna tease me at least say my name correctly." I complain jokingly. John and Bria laugh quietly behind me. "Where's Vector?" He asks annoyed. I smile, "Somewhere where you'll never find him."

"Is he inside your Pack house?" He sighs, looking at me with the I'm not stupid face.

"Guess it's time to fight." I say, shifting into a wolf. John and Bria do the same behind me. Mark shifts too and starts growling. The guys behind him do the same, looking ready to pounce. "Come on Sunrise. Show me what you got." Mark smirks.

That triggers me, sending me lunging for him while the Warriors head for the door. I smash Mark to the ground and yell to John and Bria, "Don't let them inside the house!" I don't have time to look back as Mark gets up immediately and slashes my already injured shoulder.

I whine and stagger back; Mark then bashes into me, sending me to the wall of the Pack house. I quickly try to get up, but the throbbing in my shoulder keeps me from doing so.

"You still haven't recovered from our last meet have you?" Mark asks rhetorically, seeing the state I'm in. I wanna say the best comeback ever, but I flinch from the pain, falling on the ground. "Silly girl. You thought you were all high and mighty since your the leader, but your just as pathetic as a human." Mark states, walking towards me.

I don't try moving and I my vision is blurring as this is happening. Alex get up! You can't give up! Skai encourages me. I ... can't.

Too much ... pain.

Mark lunges, but gets knocked away by a blur. I slowly turn my head to see who it was, but I can't make it out. The blur then starts waking at Mark, forcing him to back away from me.

I shift my head so I can see my shoulder; I immediately regret it, seeing blood streaming out as a socket is definitely out of place. I instantly pass out, seeing my torn out shoulder.
