(A/N: Another chapter!!!! I've tried Alice's P.O.V so I hope you like it :D)
I woke up, yawning and stretching. I looked over and wasn’t surprised to see Alice sitting on the edge of the bed smiling at me.
“Good morning,” she said. The she added randomly, “You’re cute when you sleep.” I raised an eyebrow at her sceptically.
“You watch me sleep?”
“Um, yeah.” She bit her lip slightly, sending waves of desire crashing through my body, surprising me. I cleared my throat trying to distract myself. It was getting sort of awkward. A knock came from the door startling both of us.
“Come in!” I called. To my surprise Edward walked in smiling. I frowned. I haven’t seen or spoke to him since we kissed. Then my lullaby came back to my head and I started humming it without thinking. I caught Edwards’ eye and I saw him smirking. I immediately stopped seeing Alice’s glare at Edward. I didn’t want them fighting because of me.
Edward stopped in front of me, ignoring Alice’s stares, and held out his hand. I stared at him confused. What was he doing?
“Bella, will you do me the honour of joining me today for a picnic in the woods?” he asked, putting on a funny accent, making me giggle. I looked at Alice for reassurance.
“You don’t need me to let you go Bella.” she said although it sounded forced. I smiled my thanks and took Edward’s cold hand, lifting me up off of the bed.
“I will await you downstairs.” he said in that funny voice and he gave a slight bow, kissing my hand. I stood there flabbergasted for a moment before I felt Alice tugging on my sleeves.
“H-have fun,” she said, standing in front of me, looking paler then she usually did.
“Are you okay? I don’t have to go if you don’t want me to.” She shook her head.
“Don’t be silly. You deserve to go,” She sighed deeply and then pulled me in for a hug. “Besides, I need to hunt.” she said pulling away, looking pained. I hadn’t realised it at first but her eyes were a light shade of black.
I nodded still processing the fact that she was a vampire who needed blood to survive. She walked to the door but before she left she turned to me and said, “Bella? Just please, don’t kiss him.” She sighed again and left without another word.
I frowned, feeling something tighten at her words but I shook it off and raced to get ready. I chose my outfit quickly and, grabbing my crutches, went downstairs as quickly as I could. I was excited despite us kissing the other day. I saw him waiting by the door, looking breathtaking. I shook away the thoughts I was having of him, determined not to fall for him. He took my hand again.
“Are you ready to go Milady?” I smirked and nodded.
“Edward?”
“Yes?”
“Stop with the princess thing. I’m anything but.” I said smiling. He smirked and chuckled.
“Okay.”
Alice’s P.O.V
I sighed shakily, not happy at all that Edward was taking Bella out. He knew how I felt and yet he did it anyway.
I was so worried she was going to fall for Edward, but I wouldn’t blame her if she did. For one he’s a male and two he’s very good looking.
Suddenly my body went slack and I couldn’t see anything as a vision obscured my sight. Edward and Bella appeared, holding hands, strolling through the woods. My stomach tightened at the sight of Bella wearing my clothes. She was absolutely breath taking and deserved only the best. They stopped beside a tree still holding hands. Jealousy was emanating from every pore of my body. Edward came closer to her face and suddenly they were kissing. Not gently either but hard and passionate.
I wrenched myself out of the vision, heaving. If I could I’d be crying my eyes out, but all I could do was sob. I felt terrible. I tried to remind myself that it was the future and Bella could decide against it at any time, but I knew I was only kidding myself. I had never had such a clear vision before.
I got up from the couch so hard it rocked and fell over making a loud crash that hurt my sensitive ears. I was going hunting; I had to stop thinking about Edward and Bella. Esme and Carlisle were suddenly by my side, trying to comfort me. It didn’t work and I realised anger was rising inside of me.
“Alice, please. Just calm down for a second.”
“No!” I yelled a lot louder than I thought. “Can’t you see how I feel!?” I screamed at them running outside and then flitting to vampire speed. I ran and ran and ran not paying any attention to where I was going.
After a while I slowed down to a jogging speed, suddenly feeling guilty at how I snapped at Carlisle and Esme. They were just trying to be there for me. They have been the closest I could call to parents but I find it hard to trust any of them.
You see, I’m a mystery. I don’t know who changed me, and I can’t even remember a life before I was a vampire. All I remember is having a vision of Jasper who found me and we made our way to the Cullen family where I have lived ever since. I feel connected to Jasper for that but I have never felt anything more to him then brotherly love. But then Bella comes along, all the way from Phoenix, and steals my cold stone heart.
At first I was surprised I was attracted to a girl, a human girl at that, but I have learned to control my thirst for her blood and she’s so sweet to be around.
A snap of a branch distracted me and I whirled my head around to the scent of a deer. I realised I must be in the forests of Atlanta. My instincts kicked in and I tuned my hearing and smell onto the dear. Everything became a lot clearer. I could hear the small heart of the deer pattering, enticing me.
Further ahead I could hear a herd of cattle but I was focused on the deer. The forest had suddenly come alive with smells and movement. The burning in my throat suddenly became searing, edging me closer so I lunged gracefully at the deer, biting through its neck.
I fed until there was no blood left and I stood back wiping the crinkles in my clothes. I felt better but I was still thirsty so I killed another deer, and to my luck a bear. I was finally satisfied as I felt the blood settle into my stomach.
I felt foolish at acting so childish but I couldn’t stand seeing Bella again. I decided to amuse myself by running around and hunting random animals. After a while I knew I should be getting back, so with the fresh blood in my system I ran home, preparing my apology.
