I stopped myself from saying anything else. I never knew about Jais feelings towards me. He was always close to me, maybe that was why? But it couldn't be, he was with Ariana..
I shook my head at Jai. "Must be a different Andrea or something because that's just weird to hear from you, no offense." Jai nodded, looking down at his feet and shrugged.
"I don't know. Just the way you're around Luke and the way you treat him is just awesome. I want a girl like that. I need a girl like that. Someone to make me feel good about myself and I can talk about her for days. Someone who won't leave me hanging.." He said the last sentence kinda quiet and looked down at his feet, kicking a pebble.
I noticed that Jai was hurt, he didn't like talking about his relationship with Ariana and I could tell it killed him.
I hugged him and kept him close to me. "I am like that sister to you, Jai. You will find a great girl who will treat you with respect, I guarantee it!" I smiled at him and he nodded, pulling back from the hug.
Jai walked by the others and Luke grabbed my hand again. "Hey, what was he saying?" Luke asked as I looked up at him.
I shook my head, not wanting to tell Luke what Jai had just told me. "He was just...asking me about the video! That's all, nothing complicated or stupid or anything." I laughed.
Luke nodded and he walked to his car and Jai was not that far behind us. He got in the back as I climbed into the passenger seat and Luke started the car once he got in the drivers. The whole car ride was quiet and awkward, I wanted to say something, but I didn't want anything to slip out of my mouth that shouldn't.
Once we got back to Luke's house, Luke walked me into his bedroom, closing the door behind us and looked at me. "What did Jai tell you...?" He asked and I looked up at him.
"Nothing, Luke! Nothing about you! He just needed to ask me a question." I lied straight to his face and I felt guilty about it.
"My fucking god, I know he didn't ask you something.." Luke said, leaning against the wall.
I sighed, looking down at my feet. "He said..he said...he likes me.." I said, stuttering and took a deep breath. Luke's eyes widened.
"He what??" He looked surprised, I knew he would get like this.
"Luke, stop. He just likes the type of girl I am and how happy I make you. He just wants a girl like me to make him happy like I do, that's all." I grabbed Luke's hand and kissed his nose. "Don't worry, please.."
Luke nodded. "No one can take you from me, you're my girl and always will be.." He let go of my hand and went over by his dresser, grabbing a purple velvety box out of it. "No, I am not proposing.." He let out a chuckle and handed me the box.
I took it, opening it slowly and saw a beautiful ring with the word "forever" engraved into it. I smiled and put my hand over my mouth. "Luke..." I said, tearing up.
Luke smiled at me, kissing my forehead. "It's a promise ring. Like I promise to always be yours, and as long as you have that ring on, I know that I'll always have you as mine, forever." I slipped the ring on, then grabbed Luke by the shirt and kissed him lightly. I felt Luke's arms wrap around my waist gently.
Pulling back from the kiss, I smiled at him and closed my eyes again as I felt Luke's lips press against my forehead. "I love you.." He said quietly and I nodded.
"I love you too, babe." I replied, hugging him.
I felt the door open behind me and I laughed as I looked back to see Beau there.
"Woah! Lock the door guys!" He laughed and I giggled, laying my head against Luke's chest.
Luke rubbed my back and shook his head at Beau. "No!" He said to Beau and laughed. Beau rolled his eyes. Beau grabbed a shirt from Jai's dresser and walked out.
I looked up at Luke and smiled. "Wanna go get ice cream?" I asked him as he nodded, pulling away from the embrace he held me in, and grabbed his keys. He took my hand, and we walked out of his bedroom and to his car, going to get the ice cream.
