"Blanche, come on. Wake up." I felt a slight nudge on my side as my name been called by a soothing tone. I gently open my eyelids, although my eyes have already adjusted to the dark of the temple, yet still some corners that disappear within my view. But the room was dimly lit as other rooms, candles sitting in shelfs and corners and shining their lively light into the darkest of corners. I can feel myself resting upon a small velvety pillow in the corner of the room, where the grand piano on my left and the stairwell on the wall next to me.

"Blanche, big day, you need to witness this." He called again, the same bright face that visit me everyday. The brown curly hair rested above his forehead, those pure brown eyes sparkling even without the gentle glow of the candles. The natural curve on his lips that makes many head turn, and most of all, the kindness in the man's heart. He was a hero to me.

I slowly lift my head up and up to my front legs, and with a small push, I'm on my four legs. "I'm sorry I have to wake you up in the middle of your nap, but I think it's time to finish the circle that held this place together."

When I finally sit up and get myself together Julian is already waiting at the door way signalling me to head down the stairs. And so I did, following his loud footsteps followed by mine quiet ones. "Blanche, I wish today you just stay at my side, also don't talk to strangers." Julian suggests as we exit out the stairwell back to the long hallway where its lined with thousands of scrolls and books with pages and symbols I now know how to read.

And like that, I followed himself step by step through the identical maze, it twist and turns through the abandoned temple. They seems dull yet the contain the story and tales of this sacred place, each stone and each river and where they leads to. From the frozen land of the Mountain, runs pass the dried land yet full of life Appondale, the sneak through the lively heart of Jamaa Township and Kimbara Outback where the injured go. It swim freely and dances with the leaves and birds in the Serapia Forest, and leak into the temple we are in now. But it's not the end of its adventure, it gives out and sprint pass Coral Canyons, and finally out into the open freedom of Crystal Sands.

And it's all coded into one of those books in one of the pages, and there's still more to the story that I still haven't discovered.

"Blanche, stay here." I stopped in my tracks and sat down onto the cold bricks. We have arrived into a large room, one that I've never been in, it was simple but it was well kept other than other rooms. No cracks or vines seeping out of corners, even it was using a lamp(but still lit by a candle) handing from the top, but what really caught my attention is something in the middle, a hold that dug so perfectly, it went straight down to god-knows-where in a perfect cylinder. I could try to look down but my paws are glued to the ground, I don't wanted to disobey the simple order Julian gave me.

From what I can see from my angle, Julian opens another door in front of me, opposite of the door we've came in from. I can see the triumph on his face has he whisper something, until I see what is he looking at. A black tiger with red stripes, he didn't seems familiar to me, but the look on his eyes really tug something in the back of my head. "Spirit..." he said something, Spirit? What's that? Is it like a spirit as in a ghost or something? A mad person that can see ghosts. Maybe that what he is, a mad man.

"Wretched Jungle, never thought this day would come didn't you?" Julian's voice seems harsher than usually has the tiger trailed behind him, with Beanz. My mood somewhat lighten when I see Beanz, he played with me when he has free time. Sadly he can't really see so we can only talk, but his tricks with his vines are truly magnificent.

The tiger didn't respond, only stared at me with his hollowed out eyes, but behind that mask of silence. He is reaching out to me. That's why there a tug at my chest.

"Never talk to strangers."

Julian's voice returned into my head, but do I really wanted to follow it. Blanche, you always know you have an adventuring side of you. Why not now?

I took a deep breath and let my walls that protect me come off, soon I was drowning in emotion, floods and floods of them running through the faucet. Spirit, spirit, spirit, spirit, spirit, spirit, spirit, spirit, spirit-

Spirit.

I know you can hear this, but you are not Blanche.

I shook my head when I hear these words, I refuse to let them into my head.

Spirit, that's your real name. Remember me? Wretched? You have a life out of this jail. Remember? Leaping? All of those people, they are your family. Remember who you are, this is not you spirit.

And by that, I struck dumb. I am shocked, visibly. Until the flood came in again, massive amount of memory, all came in one by one. I give up and finally dove into the waves of information.

---

  "Welcome to camp, New Jammer."

---

 "it's Epic Wonders."

"Yeah I know that." I cross my arms in front of my chest. "Look spirit, this is epic wonders, have you ever wonder why it's called that?"

I shook my head. "Because it sells all those expensive stuff that looks cool?"

"Nah."

"Then what is it?"

"This place, before this whole 'sucking people into games with killers' happened, this used to were the they keep all the lost warrior's wonders, and the warriors are every jammer that plays this game."

 ---

  "Oh yeah...my name is Wretched"

---

"Swimming, the girl that gives you your name. She isn't human, she is an AI."

---

"You know you are surrounded by people you don't know." Her eyes signaled, Wretched she meant.

"I trust him." I rebuts, but all Swimming give in reply is a slight scoff. "But what if he is not what you believe."

---

Wretched.
