Jennifer had been enjoying herself with Alex but the situation she was in at this moment in time wasn't exactly the best. She was in Alex's bathroom; her period had unexpectedly started and her bag was in the living room with her tampons in it.

"Shit..." She cursed quietly, still sat on the toilet as she looked around for any sort of feminine products that Alex might have laying around. But of course, with her luck, there was nothing. This is why she didn't mind having her period the same time as Eliza because the younger girl was far more organised than Jennifer so she could always rely on her to at least have something lying around. "Uh... Alex!" The teenager called, she had no choice no matter how embarrassing it was. She didn't exactly know why she was embarrassed because after all, Alex is also female.

"You okay?" She heard the redhead ask from behind the door.

"Uh yeah, well I've just been swept in by the crimson wave if you get what I mean?" Jennifer asked with an awkward laugh.

Alex giggled. "Yeah, I get you."

"Can you pass my bag through please?" Jennifer asked and she heard Alex chuckle.

"Yeah, no problem." The redhead walked across the room and picked up the teenager's bag before returning to the bathroom door. She opened the door just enough to slide the back in before closing it again.

"Thank you!"

"You're welcome!" Alex smiled but that instantly disappeared when her front door opened.

"Hey Al, you left your laptop at my place yesterday so I thought I'd drop it off." Of course, it was Megan. Megan was the only other person to have a key to her apartment. The blonde walked towards the redhead who was frantically looking back at the bathroom door.

"I need you to not freak out." Alex took the laptop from Megan as she spoke in a hushed tone, the blonde looking at her with narrowed eyes.

"Alex what did you do?" She asked suspiciously.

"Uh, do you remember that girl I made out with at the bar and she turned out to be my student? I'm... kinda seeing her..." Alex cringed as she waited for Megan's reaction.

"Alex! What the hell?" The blonde hissed, giving Alex a little slap on the arm.

"Okay, first of all, ow! And would you calm down? I'm trying to keep it on the down low and you're not helping!" Alex scolded, pulling her friend in closer by the arm.

"Really? Keeping it on the down-" Megan was cut off by the bathroom door opening.

"Be nice." Alex warned in a whisper before pushing Megan over to sit on the couch. "Jennifer, this is my friend Megan. Megan this is Jennifer." She introduced the two as Jennifer slowly walked over to the couch, looking quite confused.

"Um... hi." The short brunette greeted with a half awkward smile.

"Hello." Megan offered in return, trying her hardest not to scowl at her best friend.

"Mommy!" A little voice called out from one of the bedrooms.

Alex sighed and glanced between the two girls who were both now sitting on her couch awkwardly. "I'll be right back." She disappeared off to Waverly's room, not wanting to leave her best friend and her girlfriend together.

As soon as Alex closed the door behind her Megan spoke up. "What do you think you're doing?" She asked the teenager sitting next to her in an icy tone.

"Excuse me?" Jennifer turned to the blonde incredulously, her brow raised in surprised.

"You do realise if the school finds out about you and Alex fooling around that it'll be her head who gets it?" Megan pointed towards the door Alex was behind, lowering her voice so the redhead wouldn't hear her.
