Chapter Fifty Seven

                                    

                                          
Chanyeol was expecting a punch or a slap on his face but the sound didn't come from his cheek but on Baekhyun's. Chanyeol shockingly turns to his boyfriend who seems to be surprised as well.
                          
Chanyeol immediately pulls Baekhyun to him, the small puppy couldn't even react. He just held his cheek and looks at Mrs. Park who is furious as ever. "I treated you just like my own son but what did you do?! You turned my son into a monster just like you!!" 
                          
"Mom!" Chanyeol shouts, it's just too much. He knows that Baekhyun doesn't deserve those words especially when he did nothing wrong. Baekhyun shook his head. He wants to cry or just defend himself but he can't. He knows he has to face this anyway and that he should've just avoided Chanyeol but instead he followed his heart and here are the consequences.
                          
"Please stay away from my son. You are not good for him. Please leave while I'm asking nicely" she adds. Chanyeol frowns and moves forward. "Mom, he didn't do anything wrong. I was gay---" he was cut of when she slapped his face. "You are not... that kind of monster, Chanyeol. You're just confused because of what that asshole did to you. But you're not like him" 
                          
Chanyeol sighs. "I have been like this since I was a little boy." He looks at his mom who has now tears in her eyes. "I hid it from you because I know you'd be like this but I can't hide forever. Not now that I finally found someone who I love" 
                          
Mrs. Park was quiet but she started wearing the rings from her purse. Once she's done, she turns to Chanyeol and punches his face. Baekhyun was surprised, especially when he sees blood on Chanyeol's mouth. 
                          
"You are a disgrace to this family, Chanyeol. I regret taking you with me. You're just like your father." She then enters Chanyeol's room. "Come here! You deserve more beatingl
                          
Baekhyun noticed that Chanyeol's expression changed upon the mention of his dad. Baekhyun is about to say something when Chanyeol spoke. "Baek, I'll see you at school.. please leave" 
                          
Baekhyun is about to hold Chanyeol's shaking hand but decides not to. He watches as Chanyeol enters the said room.
                          
"What happened to you!!" Luhan exclaims as he sees Baekhyun entering their house. Sehun stopped playing and immediately goes to the kitchen to get some ice. Luhan holds Baekhyun's pinkish cheek. "Baek, who did this to you?"
                          
Baekhyun turns to Luhan, he has been trying his best not to cry and man up but his wall was destroyed upon seeing his bestfriend. He immediately hugs Luhan. "C-Chanyeol's mom caught us... she's furious and I don't know what will happen.. to him" 
                          
Chanyeol is kneeling down in the dark room. Mrs. Park gets a belt and started hitting him. "Your beating won't stop until you tell me that everything you just announced is a lie" she waits for Chanyeol's answer. He bit his lip, "no mom. I'm really inlove with him"
                          
She frowns and continues to hit him, harder as each hit pass. Chanyeol could only close his eyes and wait for it to be over. He is used to this, whenever his mom's plan is ruined, she would hit him non-stop until she gets tired. 
                          
Chanyeol knows this is better than not seeing Baekhyun at all. He just has to accept every hit and he'll be happy with Baekhyun.
