"Not really, but I'm sure you have something in mind already" I tell him suggestively as I step closer to him.
Vic only has the time to put his hands on my hips when right as he's about to pull me closer Nick interrupts us. He pushes us apart with his hand that isn't busy trying to get his jeans on which he only has gotten one of his legs into.
"Out of my way, I overslept!" He shouts as he hurries into the kitchen, running through it and pouring some yoghurt into his mouth right from the carton. He runs past between us again, this time when he has managed to put on his pants completely. Then he's running upstairs again, where we can hear him shout 'out of my way, I overslept' at some other sibling.
We both stand still in silence for a while before turning our heads from the stairs to each other. We're quiet for a while longer before we burst out laughing at the little random show we just witnessed.
"Okay, your family is officially the best. I can't remember laughing so much as I've done these past days in years" I tell Vic after we've calmed down a bit from the laugh attack.
"Well it's a good thing you're staying for an entire week then isn't it? And I'm hoping I'll see you around here for more than that too" Vic says and steps forward.
This time he wraps his arms around my waist without any interruptions and kisses me. I kiss him back and accept it when he deepens the kiss. But when he runs his tongue along my bottom lip asking for entrance I deny him so and pull away from the kiss.
"Mm, I will. As long as your parents think it's okay. Just remember that I'm not only going to be here with you. Mikey's my best friend and I'm not gonna go ditch him for my boyfriend"
"Boyfriend, I like the sound of that. And the Mike thing, I know you won't, you're too precious to ever do that." Vic says before kissing me again.
We spend the remaining time downstairs, kissing and cuddling until we eventually have to get going to school. Usually Mike wouldn't want to walk with the rest of his siblings but since I insisted he finally agreed after telling me that if Vic and I spend the time sucking faces then he won't hesitate to push us onto the road.
The problem Mike was worried about was worrying him for absolutely no reason. Vic and I wasn't walking around kissing. It actually felt like the closer we got to school, the further away from me he walked.
As we get inside the school all of us head to the lockers at first before we're all supposed to go off in opposite directions to different classes. I go over to Vic to say goodbye to him, when he does something I didn't expect him too.
"I'll see you at lunch" I say, leaning in for a quick peck on the lips. A peck that Vic completely dodges and then pretends to not have noticed.
"Yeah, see ya" Is all he replies before going over to Denis who has showed up to the lockers as well.
I look at them with confusion and anger. Confusion because I wasn't ready for Vic to ditch me like he just did. Angry because, he just ditched me! And then he goes off to Denis. I hate Denis! Not that I know him personally but what he did to Mike is awful and Mike hates him and Mikey's my best friend so I hate him too. Mike seems to notice my sudden change in mood and comes up wrapping his arm around my shoulder.
"What's got you grumpy Kells?" He asks me in a baby voice.
"Oh shut up Mikey, Vic's already made me mad. He just dodged my kiss because Denis was around" I huff, stomping my foot like a five year old.
"Oh.. I'm sorry but I can't honestly say I'm surprised. Vic isn't really the type to publicly show off his relationships, at least not if he's dating a guy" Mike explains making my heart sink in my chest. So he's gonna hide our relationship because I'm a boy and so is he? What about all that doing everything he can to make our relationship work? Couldn't he have mentioned that it didn't include letting people know we are in fact, a couple.
