The Make-Up

                                    

                                          
It had been about a week since Sting and Natsu had broken up, and Natsu was not taking it well. Not necessarily because he was depressed about the breakup, but because of how he had treated both Sting and Gray.
                          
"Natsu? Are you going to the guild?" Happy asked, flying over to Natsu's bed.
                          
"Yeah, I guess." Natsu sighed sitting up.
                          
"Are you really not going to tell me what's going on?" Happy asked.
                          
"There's nothing going on. I'm fine." Natsu lied looking at Happy.
                          
"Stop lying to me!" Happy cried flying out of the house.
                          
Natsu looked down and sighed again. 'Gray, Sting and now Happy.' Slowly, Natsu got dressed and walked to the guildhall.
                          
When Natsu got there, Happy was sitting with Lisanna and Lucy. "And he's been lying to me a lot lately and he won't tell me what's wrong!" Happy cried.
                          
"I'm sure it's because he doesn't want you too worry." Lisanna said patting the blue cat.
                          
Natsu walked quickly over to the other side of the guild and sat down.
                          
"Natsu!" A voice boomed from behind the fire mage, making him jump. Natsu turned his head to see Erza standing over him. "We're going on a mission today." 
                          
"Oh okay." Natsu said standing up.
                          
"Gray, Lucy, Happy! Mission!" Erza said walking away from the pinkette.
                          
Natsu sighed and followed her.
                          
"Right now?" Lucy asked.
                          
"Yes. Right now." Erza nodded.
                          
Natsu's eyes quickly darted over to Gray who was looking at Erza. Gray smiled at the job request.
                          
"On the train, I'm not sitting next to Natsu." Happy stated flying out of the guild.
                          
Natsu sighed and followed the blue cat to pack a little.
                          
When the got on the train, Happy was sitting on Lucy's lap still acting bitter towards the fire mage.
                          
Natsu tried to ignore, Happy's glare but was soon aware of Erza's and Lucy's eyes on him as well. However, he didn't care as soon as the train started moving.

Natsu jumped out of the open train window as soon as the train pulled into their stop. Waiting for the others to get off, Natsu sat on the bench and sighed, knowing that Lucy was going to ask why Happy was so pissed at him.
                          
Gray, Erza, Lucy, and Happy, who was in Lucy's arms, came over with their stuff as well as Natsu's.
                          
"Here Fire-Breath, I'm not carrying it for you." Gray said, throwing the Fire Mage's bag at him. 
                          
Catching it, Natsu felt Erza tug him away from the others. She dragged him into a corner of the station and crossed her arms in front of him.
                          
"Why is Happy mad at you?" She demanded.
                          
"Because, I won't tell him something." Natsu sighed, frustrated.
                          
"And what is that?" Erza asked.
                          
"Erza, my opinions and secrets are mine, and Happy doesn't need to know, and you don't either. Drop it." Natsu said stubbornly, looking the S-Class Mage in the face.
                          
Erza sighed and looked in his eyes. "You're right Natsu. Everyone has secrets that they don't want told. I won't bug you about it anymore. Happy will come around." She turned on her heel and walked back to the group.
                          
Natsu sighed and followed. 
                          
When they got to the hotel Erza split them into the two rooms.
                          
"Lucy and I will be in room 563, Gray, Natsu, and Happy will be in 564." Erza said.
                          
"I wanna be will non-lairs." Happy grumbled angrily.
                          
Natsu scoffed and looked away from his little buddy's hurtful gaze.
                          
"Fine. Lucy, Happy and I will be in room 563." Erza sighed.
                          
Lucy grabbed Natsu's arm, "Don't worry. Happy'll come around eventually." She said then followed Erza and the blue cat into their room for the night.
                          
Gray and Natsu walked side-by-side, silently to their room.
                          
Opening the door, Natsu claimed the left side of the room. As he set his bag down, Gray finally spoke.
                          
"So uh, you and Sting?" Gray asked.
                          
Gray saw Natsu stiffen at the mention of the Holy Dragon Slayer. Was Natsu in a bad spot with Sting?
                          
Gray waited for what seemed like forever for a response, which only made him think that he struck a nerve.
                          
"Actually, Sting and I broke up. Last week." Natsu said after a minute.
                          
Gray smiled to himself then shook it off when the pink haired man turned to face him. "Why?" Gray asked, trying his hardest not to sound impatient for a reply.
                          
"That's non of your business!" Natsu growled.
                          
Gray's eyes widened at Natsu's sudden anger.
                          
Natsu glared at the Ice Mage, but then his eyes softened. Natsu looked down and sighed. "Sorry." Natsu muttered. His eyes dashed up to meets Gray's blue eyes. "We broke up because Sting-" Natsu stopped and sat down on his bed.
                          
"Sting what?" Gray prompted, itching to know more.
                          
"I realized that I still had feeling for you." Natsu finished, looking at his hands the whole time.
                          
Gray was shocked once more. "S-seriously?"
                          
Natsu nodded, not wanting to go into depth of the story.
                          
However Natsu jumped when he heard Gray start to laugh. Natsu was suddenly filled with rage. Jumping up, he grabbed his ex by his shirt collar and pushed him into the wall. "You think that's funny?!" He growled. "Why do you think my feelings are funny?"
                          
"Natsu, I wasn't laughing because of that. I was laughing because that's the whole reason I agreed to go on a date with Juvia." Gray explained, pushing the short male away from him.
                          
"What?" Natsu asked, his black eyes meeting Gray's blue ones.
                          
"After we broke up, I realized that I still had feeling for you. In fact, I wanted to apologize for what I did. So, one day I followed you and saw you were on a date with Sting. I thought you had moved on, so I agreed to go out with Juvia. But, she's just...Not you." Gray admitted.
                          
Natsu blushed at Gray's choice of words. "What do you mean 'not me?'" He asked.
                          
"She just doesn't clash with me. She agrees to whatever I say. Her magic is too similar to mine. She's a nice person but she just doesn't have a fire in her. That's what I like about you. You're different from everyone else Natsu." Gray said, putting his hands on Natsu's shoulders.
                          
Natsu smiled and leaned in, his lips meeting Gray's.
