Manik went to the meeting and nandini was busy with her project. For a change, soha didn't bother her the rest of the day but she was constantly teased by karan and arjun by manik's name.
                          
She packed her bags and got ready to leave.
                          
She reached home and got freshened up.
                          
Mukti came inside her room.
                          
"Nandu we are going for dinner at alya's place.",mukti said her.
                          
"Why?", nandini asked her.
                          
"Though we don't need a reason to go for dinner but this time there is a reason, actually alya's latest fashion show was a hit and she's giving a treat to us. So go and get ready.",mukti said quite excited.
                          
"Muku u look quite excited. What happened?", nandini asked her.
                          
"Today me and abhi went to the site area. It was very beautiful and then we went to eat ice-cream. He was in a good mood today and didn't shout at me too when i forgot something.",mukti said her.
                          
"So u are happy because u and abhi went for a  ice-cream date.", nandini teased her.
                          
Mukti blushed.
                          
"It wasn't not a date.",mukti said her.
                          
"Ofcourse it was a date. So tell me na did u like it.", nandini asked her.
                          
"Date?",manik asked suprised.
                          
Nandini and mukti got scared.
                          
"Manik how can u come all of a sudden. U scared us.", nandini said him.
                          
"What were u talking about date?, Mukti u went for a date, who is that guy?,do i know him?.",manik asked her getting into his protective brother mode.
                          
"Bhai it's nothing like that, nandu was teasing me.",mukti said him and he sighed in relief.
                          
"Mr. Malhotra will u do the honour of telling me, why u came to my room and that too without knocking.", nandini asked him.
                          
"I knocked but u guys were busy in urself and i was searching for mukti to ask about mom.",manik said her.
                          
"Bhai ,mom has gone to her friends house.",mukti said him and he nodded and started going.
                          
"Bhai dinner at alya's home",mukti told him.
                          
"I remember, be ready by 8. ",He said and went out.
                          
Mukti and nandini got ready and came down.
Manik got the car and they both sat down.
                          
He drove to alya's home.
                          
Dhruv and abhi were already there. They hugged each other and sat down. Nandini beside dhruv and abhi and manik near alya and mukti.
                          
Alya was talking to manik about a incident in her fashion show. Nandini was busy in her phone. She looked up and saw abhi and mukti talking about business and manik and alya about something funny as they kept laughing once in a while. She looked at dhruv and saw him sad.
                          
"Hey, u look sad", nandini said him.
                          
"No ,just bored",dhruv said her looking at alya.
                          
"If u don't mind. Can i ask u something.", nandini asked him.
                          
"Why so formal?",dhruv said her.
                          
"Its personal", nandini said him.
                          
"Nandini we are friends. U can ask me anything.",dhruv said her.
                          
"U don't like manik na.", nandini asked him.
                          
"Why are asking such question. He is my buddy, my best friend. Obviously i like him.",dhruv said her.
