Chapter 4: Dream

It was time to go home, and Aichi noticed how Kourin quickly stood from her seat and going out of the classroom. He thought that maybe she had something important to do, so he just shrugged it off.
"Hey Aichi! Let's go home together!" Aichi heard Naoki called to him, along with Shingo.
"Sure!" Aichi nodded and took his bag, the three of them went out of school.
The three were walking together and it was one of their normal interaction, Naoki and Shingo fighting against each other while Aichi tries to stop them.
"Where's Misaki-san by the way?" Aichi asked as he looked at Naoki.
"She said she'll be doin' some projects with Yotsue-san," Naoki replied.
"Oh I see… well, see you tomorrow guys!" Aichi said and went on his way and saw a familiar person with spiky brown hair and wearing a blue uniform.
"Kai-kun!" Aichi called to the person.
The person, whose name was Toshiki Kai looked back at him. "Hey," Kai spoke.
"You're alone? Where's Miwa-kun?" Aichi asked.
Kai sighed, "He left me alone, he said he has some errands to do."
Aichi chuckled and the two of them started walking.
"I can't believe we're walking home together," Kai said, and Aichi just smiled.
"Well, your road's closed right?" Aichi spoke and Kai nodded.
"By the way Aichi, have you found that girl yet?" Kai asked as he glanced at Aichi.
Aichi blushed, he looked down and couldn't help himself grinning. Kai noticed this and smirked, he patted Aichi's back.
"I guess you did," Kai said. "So how's she like?"
"W-well.. she's… beautiful." Aichi replied, then realized what he said. "I-I mean! Well she's… still the same! Yeah, she's beautiful, serious, and quiet. But, I'm glad she remembered me."
"Hm… well, good luck." Kai told him, then looked around. "See you." He then walked away to the other street.
Aichi then waved goodbye at Kai and he went straight home.

Kourin was at her bedroom and lying at her bed, she thought about her second meeting with Aichi. It still seem like a dream for her, but it was reality. She met him again, and she was happy for that.
"Aichi…" Kourin muttered his name as she buried her face on her pillow, "I'm so glad I met you again.."
All of a sudden she heard her door knocking, Kourin sat and opened the door. There stood her young sister in front of her, Rekka.
"Kourin, it's time for our dinner." Rekka said.
"Okay," Kourin went to the dining room together with Rekka.
As they reached the dining room, there was their elder sister Suiko and their relative Takuto.
"Come on now, we should eat." Takuto said as he observed the two sitting on their chairs.
"Thanks for the food!" They all said as they ate.
Later on when they finished, Takuto spoke to Kourin.
"Kourin, are you okay now?" Takuto asked.
Kourin nodded, "Yes, I'm okay."
"Is Miyaji Academy a good choice for you?"
Kourin blushed, yet nodded. "Y-yeah…"
Takuto giggled, he then rested his chin on his hands. "I guess you're having fun, it's been rare for us to see you stuttering. And believe it or not, I noticed how you've been acting weird earlier when you went home from school." He explained, smirking at the blonde girl.
"Maybe she's in love~" Rekka taunted and gave a smirk.
"Or maybe she has a boyfriend now?" Suiko giggled.
Kourin blushed hardly, "S-shut up!"
They all laughed, even Kourin did after a while.
As Kourin went back to her bedroom, she changed her clothes to her nightwear and lied back to her bed.
"I wish tomorrow's a good day," Kourin said. "I want to be with Aichi again as much as possible."
Kourin then smiled as she thought of the blunette. Minutes later she would feel her eyes closing and fell asleep while thinking about Aichi and her together.

In her dreams, she found Aichi standing in front of her and smiling. He touched her face and held her close to him. Just as they were closer, Kourin suddenly froze in place. Aichi was frowning, his eyes full with tears and was holding her hand close.
"I'm sorry I couldn't save you," He said, his voice croaked and he was sobbing. "I could've saved you… Kourin-chan…"
Kourin woke up suddenly and she was panting hard, she felt her chest tightened in pain and she winced. Kourin tried to sit but she felt weak, so she called for Suiko for help.
'I can't believe it would attack me this early…' Kourin thought, 'But what was that dream?'
