On one in particular morning Dean lied asleep on his stomach with Copeland curled up next to him dead to the world. When Sam opened the door and tried to sneak back in he wakes Dean up making him slide his hand under his pillow to grab his weapon until he sees his brother carrying coffee and breakfast.

"Morning, Sunshine." Sam say as Dean sits up, causing Copeland to stir.

"What time is it?" Dean whispers as Sam hands him a coffee.

"Uh, it's about five forty-five." Sam answers.

"In the morning?" He questions.

"Yep." Sam tells him.

"Where does the day go? Did you get any sleep last night?" Dean questions the younger boy, who had been lacking in sleep lately.

"Yeah, I grabbed a couple hours." Sam tells him nonchalantly.

"Liar. 'Cause I was up at three, and you were watching a George Foreman infomercial." Copeland says from under the blanket, scaring both of them.

"God, Copeland. Give a guy a warning." Dean says.

"No. I smell coffee. Is there coffee out there?" She asks unmoving from her spot underneath the blankets.

"Yes, I just went out and got some." Sam answers her causing her to jump up and grab it from his hands.

"When was the last time you got a good night's sleep?" She asked him, yawning.

"I don't know, a little while, I guess. It's not a big deal." He assured her. "Look, I appreciate your concern—"

"Oh, I'm not concerned about you. It's your job to keep my ass alive, so I need you sharp. Not to mention it isn't healthy." She interrupts.

"Seriously, are you still having nightmares about Jess?" Dean asks his brother as he sits on the bed Copeland and Dean aren't in.

"Yeah. But it's not just her. It's everything. I just forgot, you know? This job. Man, it gets to you." Sam admits.

"You can't let it. You can't bring it home like that." Dean tells the younger boy.

"So, what? All this...never keeps you up at night?" Sam asks his brother and Dean shakes his head in reply.  "Never? You're never afraid?"

"No, not really." Dean tells him. Sam reaches underneath Dean's pillow and pulls out a large hunting knife.

"That's not fear. That is precaution." Dean tells him making Copeland snort into her coffee.

"All right, whatever. I'm too tired to argue." Sam gives up. Deans phone rings stopping the discussion anyways.

"Hello?" He answers turning the phone on speaker so Sam and Copeland could hear.

"Dean, it's, uh, it's Jerry Panowski. You, your dad, and your girlfriend helped me out a couple years back." A man says on the other end.

"Oh, right, yeah. Up in Kittanning, Pennsylvania, the poltergeist thing. It's not back, is it?" Dean grins while Copeland jumps up waving her arms hoping he will correct the man.

"No. No. Thank god, no. But it's something else, and...uh, I think it could be a lot worse." Jerry tells him.

"What is it?" Dean asks the man.

"Can we talk in person?" Jerry answers with a question.

Dean quickly agrees and hangs up. Him and Copeland quickly get dressed and pack their things and they are back on the road. Thankfully the man is only a few hours away.
