A/n I read up on him and his death actually made me sad because it made me realize that no one bothers mentioning the other spartans instead of blue team or chief so I decided to change his fate a little bit.

James S-005: Declared M.I.A by ONI

James
They did it.

Linda and John destroyed the data so Earth would be saved but the Autumn was gone now with them aboard, it was headed back to Reach after we erased the data.

I checked my suit again, Oxygen 48%, 1 hour 45 minutes remaining.

I sighed and glanced as far as I could go but no hope because space was filled with the wreckage from the battle as well as the bodies of both Covernany and UNSC who had traveled with us.

'I'm sorry John but please take care of everyone and Linda I hope you make it' I thought watching the timer, time was going slow and I was savoring it by remembering the constalations Deja taught us, Orion was one of my favorites because he was a brave warrior and another thing I remembered was a woman named Joan of Arc who was burned to death for her beliefs and she was the first woman to lead the French army in battle.

I was reminded of Spartans and how we were, "emotionless killing machines" from Marines but yet they haven't understood what we lost during training. We lost our families, dreams and hobbies heck some of us lost our personality all together to become what the UNSC and ONI wanted: supersoliders.

I couldn't do much in space but look around, 38% my HUD read and I glanced around once more until I spotted a huge section of the space station still intact.

'How did I miss that?' I wondered, then activated my jet pack to push closer trying to conserve fuel in case I survived that long. I pushed off of wreckage pieces then activated the gravity on my boots magnatizing me to the section so I could walk through the building searching for an area that might be operational.

I headed towards a terminal and accessed it, 'part of the station is online maybe I can divert all power to the life support system but out here I would only last another 2 days before I die from dehydration' I thought weighting my options.

"Avoiding death for another 2 days would be a blessing but what good would it do?" I asked out loud, 'if the coms would work by then I could sent out an Oly Oly Oxen Free and maybe contact someone from UNSC' I thought.

I diverted all power to life support and headed into one of the remained enclosed rooms, I took my helmet off to take a deep breath.

I stared at the yellowish visor and my reflection stared back at me causing a sigh, if I wanted to survive I had less than a fraction of a chance but even still it was a fraction. "Why does John have all of the luck these days, why can't he share for once?" I grumbled.

What seemed like weeks was actually days before I heard it, 'a slipspace jump!' I quickly thought then jumped up to stare out the window. "Super carrier" I breathed seeing the massive ship pulling closer by the second but it was a chance for survival.

I headed outside and gravatized my boots to the wall then slowly made my way to a point where I could try to intercept the vessel, I leaped and prayed for a chance, an ounce of luck. 'John, I hope you can spare some luck'.

I stabbed my knife into the nearest piece of hull and once more gravatized my boots to the metal saying a thankful prayer, I moved inside of the ship then sat down breathing a sigh of relief. 'Maybe I got a little luck as well but I wonder where the ship is going' I thought keeping an eye on my radar for guards who might be patroling.

I got up to walk around the top layer trying to figure some of the stuff out and I spotted a red dot moving towards my position then moved behind a pillar like object, moving farther behind it as the dot came closer.

I rolled behind another pillar then saw an elite's foot as it stopped, I silently got up but I kept an eye on the elite watching to see if he had backup behind him. 'Elites almost never move alone'.

I moved to the back of the room and pulled out my knife then prepared for the kill, I kept and eye on him.

I came back around the pillars and stabbed the elite in the neck holding it maulibles shut with my free hand, I dragged the body and disposed of it in space through an air lock.

Once I was fully rested I planned on doing some damage, lots and lots of damage. I needed to figure out where the ship was going first, I'd have to make my way to the bridge first but it can wait.

I was safe, for now.

A/n. I might more scenarios with the Spartan IIs as I learn each and every one of their stories during my research.
