Blair's POV

I remember how much I wanted someone, a friend, a companion. Someone to be there for me, so I wouldn't be alone anymore.

I remember how much I craved for it, for the attention of a friend, of Luke.

I remember how everything changed in one day.

I was at my locker, putting my stuff away when suddenly, it happened. "Hey Blair."

I waited. Did I hear that correct?

"Blair?"

I turned around and saw a girl standing in front of me. "Your name's Blair, right?" She showed me the most beautiful smile I had ever seen. And I knew I was hooked on her, then and there.

"Yes." Was all I could mutter. She made me feel weird. But not in a bad way. I felt different, special. I mean she was the first person that came up to me and actually talked to me.

"Well hi."

I was happy about this, I wasn't alone. Yet I couldn't help but wonder why she was doing this? What does she get from being here, in my presence? Does she want something from me?

I shook those thoughts away, I should be happy to finally have someone here. I mean, it's what I wanted for so long now. I wasn't going to let them go now. "Hi."

She looked down. Oh no, I made her uncomfortable. I hate myself for doing that. Ok, think, what else can I do?

"Uhm can I do something for you?" Really? Why did I even say that? That sounds as if I wanted to get rid of her...

She seemed taken back by my question, I mean I can't blame her... "Uhm no... But I just wanted to get to know you." She smiled.

I couldn't help but smile as well. Her smile was inviting. "Oh ok."

She reached for my arm and pulled me with her.

"Where are we going?"

She didn't answer but kept on pulling me with her. We entered the gym. The girl let go of me and looked at me. The way she was looking at me, I didn't like that, at all.

I looked around. And suddenly saw others appear as well. "W-what's going on?"

"No one's making fun of me!" A boy shouted, he walked to me. There was so much anger on his face.

"W-what? I don't understand."

The girl from before spoke up. "The girl's right, Dean. I mean..." She looked at me before looking at Dean again. "Maybe we shouldn't be doing this."

Dean huffed. "Oh is that so?" He looked at his friends, who were all around us. "Ok guys, who believes that this girl should get punished?"

All of them raised their hands.

"Guys, she wasn't involved in this." The girl from before said.

"Rach, get out of here if you don't want to see anything." Dean said to her.

The girl looked from Dean to me, her eyes held so much worries. She was apologizing with her eyes.

"Rach, out, now!"

The girl immediately took off running. She left.

I looked at the guy. He was very tall, which made him look even more terrifying. He held me by the shoulders. "You'll pay for it."

"W-what did I do?"

He chuckled.

Luke's POV

"Good one, Luke!" My friends laughed. They loved hearing my jokes, even though I wasn't really a joker, they always laughed. I think they did it more out of friendship... But it's fine by me. They're amazing friends.

I'd have to say that Nick's my best friend. He and I go way back. We went to kindergarten together, and were friends ever since... It's amazing, we were really close.

"Thanks buds, so how did it go with Lindsay?" That's his sister. I always tried getting her and Blair together, they could be friends. But it never works out, for some reason.

Lindsay always says that Blair's weird, creepy and sick. I don't know what version of Blair she got, but Blair's none of those things to me.

So eventually I stopped pushing it. I mean obviously something's not working. But the longer I think about it, the more I wonder if the problem is with Blair or not.

I mean she tells me she's trying but when I see her, she's just alone. She doesn't do anything, she just sits there. Maybe she's thinking, maybe she's... I don't know.

I have to agree though that that sight of her, isn't a nice one.

"She's fine, hangs out with her boyfriend a lot." Nick chuckled.

"Luke!"

I looked around and saw a girl running to me. I don't know how she knew me, or why she was so panicked, but I guess it was important for me to know. "Yes?"

"It's Blair."

At that I stood up. "What about her?"

"Something's wrong."

"What isn't wrong with her?"

I glared at Nick.

"Dude, come on, have you seen her? She's not normal."

I looked back at the girl, deciding to ignore Nick. "Bring me to her."

The girl nodded and started leading me to the gym. "She's in here."

I looked from the door to the girl. "How do you know?"

The girl looked down. "I made a terrible mistake. I brought her here and... and Dean, he... He wanted revenge and..." She looked down. "I never meant for her to get hurt."

At that I pushed the door open and entered. I didn't see Blair anywhere. "Is this a joke?"

The girl seemed very surprised. "N-no, not at all." She looked around. "She was here with them."

I looked around too but found nothing. I was going to leave until I suddenly found her phone in the corner of the gym.

"Found anything?"

I nodded. "Her phone." I looked at the girl. "Where is she? Where is my sister?" I became so angry, protective. No one's hurting my little sister!

The girl backed off. "I don't know." She held up her arms, as if I would shoot her. "Please, I'm only trying to help."

"You would've helped by not bringing her here."

She looked down, nodding. "I know." She took her phone.

"What are you doing?" I asked as she was busy on it.

"Helping." She waited and waited. "Hey, where are you? Yeah, I'm at the gym. What?! Where? No way!" She sighed, rubbing her face. This isn't good. "I hope she's ok." And she hung up.

"Well?"

She looked down. "They..." She seemed to look for a way to tell me the news. "They hurt her."

I became so angry. "What?!"

"Come on, we'll go get her." And so we went to Blair, I hope she's ok.
