Part 51 - Let's Still Celebrate

                                    

                                          
Just as Laxus and reader enter the bar, Master then jumps on a table.
"Listen up brats! Today's defeat is the seed of tomorrow's victory! Let's rise up cause we don't know the meaning of the words 'give up'! Aim for number one in fiore!" says master.
Everyone starts cheering. Reader looks at Laxus and Laxus looks back at her and he hold his hand out to her. Reader is reaching for his hand but then Cana grabs reader's hand and pulls her away.
"Drinking contest! You and me!" says Cana.
Reader looks back at Laxus and he's laughing.
"Looks like some other time." says Laxus.
                          
Later on.
Reader and Cana are still going at it. Evergeen and Bixlow approach.
"I think you had a little too much (Y/N)." says Evergeen.
"Yeah, we know you can beat Cana no problem haha." says Bixlow.
"Oh (Y/N) isn't leaving until you guys take her place." says Cana.
"No way. We are only looking after (Y/N)." says Evergeen.
"What? Are you two chicken?" asks Cana.
"We ain't no chicken! Come on Ever, let's do this!" says Bixlow.
Evergreen is annoyed she just called chicken.
"Fine, you're on!" says Evergeen.
"Sorry (Y/N) but you gotta move over." says Bixlow.
"Oookaaay." says reader as she gets up from the seat.
She starts walking around the bar talking with everyone and laughing.
"Wow, I never seen you like this! You're so fun!" says Lucy.
"I guess you could be too." says reader.
Natsu laughs and puts his arm around reader.
"Have another drink on me!" says Natsu.
Reader visits everyone as they all party.
                          
Reader realizes she hasn't seen Laxus for awhile. She walks around to look for him. Reader then sees Laxus sitting at a table with his eyes closed while Freed is yelling at Gajeel. Gajeel is being held back by Levy. She looks over and sees Bixlow and Evergreen passed out and Cana still standing. Once she looks at Laxus again she has a big smile on her face.
"Laaaaxus!" says reader.
Laxus looks up at reader and gets up and walks over to her then he smiles.
"Are you drunk?" asks Laxus.
"No, just feeling a small buzz." says reader.
"Guess we can't annouce to the guild that were together now."
"What? Why not?"
"You're drunk. Who's gonna believe someone under the influence hahaha."
"Hey!.. not my fault." says reader trying to look innocent.
Laxus laughs.
"Sure. Well it is weird seeing you drink alcohol, aren't you like 13?" says Laxus teasing.
Reader gets annoyed then looks away
"You know I'm 20 Laxus.. I'm a grown woman." says reader.
Laxus starts laughing.
"Is that right? Then you wanna do grown woman things?"
Laxus comes closer to reader and whispers in her ear.
"I can help." he says. 
Reader feels face go red.
"Ugh I feel weird, must be the alcohol, It's so hot in here!" says reader.
Laxus sees readers face blush, watching her walk away.
"You know what you're feeling is coming from me." says Laxus.
Reader blushes more as she walks out the bar.
"Light path.. I'm lost.. take me to my inn.. please?" says reader a little drunk.
                          
Reader follows her light path until she finally reaches the outside of the inn she's staying at.
"Glad you made it back safe."
Reader turns around and sees Laxus.
"It's a grown woman thing to do." says reader.
Laxus smile at her comment.
"I followed these lights like a yellow brick road.. surprised to see you still use this magic." says Laxus.
"Hey I'm a little under the influence, I needed a guide."
"Then you should've asked me to walk you back."
"Well you're here now, thank you for stalking me back."
Laxus smiles.
"You want to be sassy with me?" says Laxus as he walks closer to reader's face.
"Can I get a good night kiss?" asks Laxus.
"Do you want to spend the night with me instead?" asks reader.
Laxus has a shocked look on his face. Then he smiles.
"I would love to, but I see you're under the influence. I'm gonna have to take a rain check on that."
"Well.. if you say so. Like I said, I'm not drunk. I'm electrifying." says reader as she grabs Laxus' coat and pulls him towards her and kisses him.
Laxus kisses her back and holds her. Reader then pulls away from Laxus not saying anything, Laxus smiles as she opens the door and walks in. 
Reader shuts the door. Laxus smiles. "*sigh* This woman is something else haha." says Laxus as he walks back towards his inn. 
                          
The next day.
It's the second day of the grand magic games, reader wakes up and heads out to see Wendy again once see cleaned herself up from drinking too much the night before. On her way she looks down hoping Laxus doesn't see her. Embarrassed from the night before. She still couldn't believe that she invited Laxus to spend the night with him. As reader walks, she bumps into someone.
"Oh! I'm so sorry! I wasn't watching where I was going." says reader.
Then she sees it was Jason from Sorcerer's Weekly.
Oh no. Reader thought.
"Cooooooool!" says Jason, giving reader a headache from her hangover.
"It's the Legendary Haley's Comet! In the flesh! One Fairy Tail's Beauties!" he adds.
"Hi." says reader nervously.
Reader was always shy to be the magazine. She avoided Jason throughout the seven years trying to interview Fairy Tail for the loss of most of their mages, and later on when the rumor Sting spread about her.
"I must have an interview with you!" says Jason as he has a pen and paper in his hand already.
"Ah.. sure. Only if you make it short." says reader.
"Coooooooooool!" yells Jason.
                          
Jason's 'cool' caught the attention of people nearby, this including Sting.
"So, tell me! What's your mightiest spell?"
"Something I collaborated with one of my guild members is my strongest right now."
"Cool cool cool! can you tell me what it is?"
"Not right now as I have no need for it."
"Next question. How does it feel to have your old guild members back?!"
"It's awesome, I couldn't be happier."
"Cool. So next question. How did you get your famous nickname 'Haley's Comet'?"
"Uhh.."
"I gave her that name because she's so beautiful." says Sting cutting himself in and putting his arm around reader.
"Coooooool! It's Sabertooth's Sting! Tell me! Are you guys a power couple?" says Jason.
"No, were not." says reader as she pulls away from Sting.
"So the famous (Y/N) is single?? Coooool!"
"I gotta go, interview over." says reader as she uses her light body to teleport out.
"Gotta go too!" says Sting as he runs off.
Jason left standing there.
"Coooooool!"
                          
Later on.
Reader is at the stand after her visit with Wendy.
"Hey! you're almost late!" says Evergreen.
"Sorry, long morning, woke up late and other stuff." says reader.
"Games are about to start." says Freed.
Reader looks around and when she looks towards the announcer stand, she sees Jason.
"Jason's the guest announcer today?!" asks reader.
Evergreen looks towards the announcer stands as well.
"Looks that way." says Evergreen.
