Jesse couldn't sleep. She was too focused on thinking about that wish. She was considering the pros and cons of the situation. For all she knows, her friends might be happier now, because the witherstorm never happened. All she knew was that, she wasn't happy. She made that wish for Reuben, because he had left a huge hole in her heart. But now, its an even bigger hole, because her friends aren't her friends anymore. She kept on thinking about the good that happened because of that wish, but she deeply missed her friends. She couldn't get a wink of sleep.

As soon as the sun rose, she got up. She decided that she was going to town. She might even see her friends, maybe she could find out if they were happy now. Olivia and Axel hadn't woken up yet, so this was the perfect time to sneak out without their suspicions. She put on her typical clothing, her white and red t-shirt and her dungarees. When she exited her bedroom, she found her little pig sleeping peacefully. She didn't want to disturb him, so she tip-toed past him. Then she went down the treehouse ladder, and started her way to town.

Finally, she made it to town. It wasn't that busy, and that was predictable since it was still very early in the morning. Then, Jesse saw Lukas leaning against a wall. It looked like he was thinking about something. Jesse started to walk towards him." Hey, Lukas, sup," she greeted. He looked shocked, but then smiled and said," Oh, hey Jesse, sup with you?"" Nothing, sup with you," she asked again." Um, I just said, nothing." he answered. " Oh yeah," she giggled with embarrassment, as a blush spread onto her face. She remembered when that same incident happened, the other way around though." So, why are you in town this early in the morning," she asked him." Well, its Aiden's birthday, today so I need to get the stuff that we need for the party, but.... I'm stuck on what to do," he admitted. Jesse giggled at that." Well, if you want, I could help you plan the party," she smiled.

"Really, I mean, um that would be very nice of you," he thanked her, as a light blush came over his cheeks." So first things first, did you buy the cake yet." she questioned. He hesitated and then shook his head. Jesse couldn't help but face palm. So Jesse and Lukas went to the bakery.

The aroma in the cake shop smelled like heaven. It made Jesse crave a piece of freshly baked cake. But she had to focus. She didn't come here to eat cake! The duo went up to the counter, and looked at the different choices." So what type of cake do you think that Aiden would like?" Jesse asked Lukas." Hmmmm, I actually don't know." he answered which wasn't a very good answer." What about a chocolate cake?" she suggested, by gesturing to a delicious looking cake." Well, everyone likes chocolate cake," Lukas admitted. The two of them started to laugh, and then Lukas paid for the cake and put it in his inventory.

Then they went shopping for decorations.  Afterwards, the pair went to buy food for the party. They bought snacks, drinks and everything essential for a good party. While shopping, Lukas talked about his friends and how he met them. He said that he met Aiden when both of them were little. He met the others later on. He also said that Aiden was his best friend. But it didn't sound like he meant it. However,Jesse and Lukas had a great time together.

Then, they went to buy Aiden a present for his birthday." What about we buy him....um, any ideas?" Lukas asked. 'He really doesn't know the first thing about birthdays, does he?' she smiled at that thought." Well, what about...." she actually didn't know herself. What would mean, selfish, annoying and stupid Aiden want for his  birthday. Probably something awesome and fancy to suit his stuck-up personality. But she couldn't say that to Lukas, not this one anyway." Maybe you should buy him... an ocelot?" She unsurely recommended. Lukas thought about it, and then got an idea." What about a plush?" He proposed. "That's a great idea, Lukas!" She said, and she meant it.

So the duo went to buy the plush ocelot." I'm sure he'll love it," Jesse announced as they walked out of the shop with the wild cat toy. "Thanks, Jesse, for helping me with this. If you hadn't, I bet that I would have just stood there all day." he finished, and smiled a sincere smile.Jesse smiled as well." I'm glad to help a friend," she quoted. Well, she hoped that they were friends." So, since you helped me out with this, I think you should come to the party tonight." Jesse's emerald green eyes widened. She was very surprised. She never expected to get invited to the party.

"Are you sure you want me  there, your friends probably don't want me there." she sadly said and hung her head." But, I want you to be there." Lukas replied with a smile. With those words, Jesse's head lifted in hope. She felt her cheeks getting warmer. "R-r-really?" she asked. The blonde nodded, and a blush crept onto his cheeks. Jesse beamed, and hugged him. They hugged for only a few seconds, and then Jesse replied with an," of course, I'd love to,"

"Great, see you tonight at six, he said, and started to walk away to his house. Jesse didn't know what to think. Thoughts were buzzing through her head. She really needed to calm down. It was still early, but her friends were probably awake by now. And, well she needed to relax right now, so she went back to the treehouse.
