Mission: Planning the infiltration of the old HQ
-------------------------------------------------------------
Dakota, Alex and Ethan sat on the couches staring at the blueprints on the makeshift coffee table.
"I say we wing it," Alex said.
Dakota sighed, irritably. "Since you obviously don't want to be here, go get food or something."
"Do we really want to put Alex in charge of money and food?"
"Good point," Dakota stated. "Go scrub the toilet or something. And remember, don't end up like Carolina." Ethan hid a grin.
"What happened to Carolina?" Alex asked a little worried.
"You don't wanna know."
Ethan made a vague hand gesture in the air. "Was she the one that . . ."
Dakota nodded, letting him in on the joke. "That's the one. We had to dig up the grave three times after we found more parts."
"Wait . . . what?" Alex asked, genuinely concerned.
Dakota and Ethan looked at each other then bust up laughing. Alex gave them a hurt look. He said something about 'not funny guys,' but it was drowned out in all the laughter.
"I say we just sneak in and take take slowly but surely."
"I'm good with that," Alex said, thankful that their laughter was over.
Dakota sighed. "I'm not going to get you two to agree with a plan am I?"
The boy shook their heads. "This is pretty much the most planning you'll get us to do," Ethan added.
"But seriously, can we get some food?" Alex asked.

Mission: Infiltrate HQ
----------------------------
Dakota peered around the corner cautiously. She hastily pulled her head back as a guard turned the corner and began patrolling the corridor. She flattened herself against the wall. As the guard approached, Dakota spun out of cover and quickly stabbed the man in the throat. Before he could fall, she caught him and lowered him gently to the ground.
She grabbed his gun and put all the other weapons she could find in her pack. Any normal backpack would be too noisy with the zippers clanking against each other, but this pack was specifically designed for stealth. The zippers were padded and the main compartments were padded as well.
Dakota ghosted through the halls, taking out guards and looting the for any weapons she could find. Of course, once they had secured the facility they could have all of the weapons in the building, but every little bit counted. The three had considered using the HQ as a base of operations, but they decided against it. The Templars would want it back, and they were already well hidden in the warehouse. Their mission here was strictly to get all of the weapons, gadgets, and armor that they could find.
Has she had on all of her mission, Dakota had memorized the layout of the building. She was to meet up with Ethan in the armory and take as many weapons as they could carry out to Alex who was waiting in the truck. She wound her way through the maze of corridors and hallways, taking out any guards she could find. Before she even saw the armory, he had at least twelve firearms, a dozen mags and several combat knives, as well as a few grenades. Templars were well equipped she thought.
As Dakota reached the armory, she saw the door was already open. She peered into the room and saw Ethan packing weapons and armor into his pack. He nodded as he saw her and gestured for her to start packing. She pulled out the dufflebag that was in one of the bags compartments. She shoved tactical rifles, machine guns and pistols into the bag. She also grabbed several suits of combat gear and shoved them in too. Ethan was doing the same.
By the time all of their bags were full, they had at least forty firearms, five dozen different knives including hidden blades, a few grenades and four other suits of combat gear. The bags, however, were very heavy. If they were caught in a drawn out encounter, they would be in deep trouble.
Speed was their ally as they raced back the way Dakota had come. Their speed was a slow jog with all the equipment. No guards met them as they moved through the halls and up to ground level. They emerged into the night and saw Alex waiting with the rental truck. Dakota and Ethan through their bags into the back of the truck and climbed in.
"How'd go?" Alex asked from the drivers seat.
"Pretty good I'd say."
Dakota didn't share Ethan's enthusiasm. "It went a little too well."
"Well, when we get to the warehouse we'll find out. I was able to copy their hard drive," Ethan said proudly. "From briefly seeing the correspondence, it seems like a good portion of their American forces have been pulled out. And I'm pretty sure it has something to do with an artifact of Eden. And a big one too."
Dakota whistled. "A Piece of Eden. That's a pretty big find."
Ethan nodded. "Enough to move four/fifths of their forces to the location."
"Well, if it's as important as you think it is, we have to check it out," Alex put in from the wheel.
"Are you crazy!?" Dakota asked incredulously, "Did you not hear 'four/fifths? That's hundred, maybe thousands of Templars! In one spot!"
"Well, I'm part of a secret cult-"
"That was rhetorical, moron."
"What did I tell you about making up words?" Alex asked.
Before Dakota could respond, Ethan interjected. "Well, it was just a glimpse. We'll have to wait till we get back to see what we have and get organized and decide what to do."
"Well, until then, we have too get back to the wast coast. Roadtrip!" Alex yelled excitedly.

"I hate you," Dakota said, flatly.
