***The day started as normal as it could have for the dark haired beauty. She woke up and started helping her father on a car. She hadn't heard of anything suspicious lately so there were no hunts for her to attempt to go on. She had planned on spending a relaxed day at home with her father working on cars, having a beer, and laughing. Emphasis on the word planned.
She slowly slid underneath the car whilst her father was looking in the hood.
"So you haven't got any news of anything going on lately?" Her father asked her.
"No. Not a thing. Which is really strange usually we're kept busy." She replied. She was getting quite concerned about the topic.
"That is strange..no phone calls? Nothing in the paper?" He pressed on thinking maybe his daughter had missed something.
"No, Dad. I've been searching everyd-" She was cut short by the sound of her phone ringing. She slid out from under the car and walked over to the table she had laid her phone on earlier.
"Guess I spoke too soon..It's Dean." She told him worried. Dean Winchester wasn't one to call for help.
"Hey, Handsome." She grinned into the phone.
"Hi, Cope." He laughed back. They had always innocently flirted with each other since they were kids. Their dads had always hoped they would get together but if you told them that they would laugh at you. She looked over at her father and saw him roll his eyes.
"What's up, Buttercup?" She asked the boy.
"Look you know I hate to bother you.. I know you've got enough to do on your own." He started.
"Dean Winchester tell me what you need." She told him sternly.
"Dad went on a hunting trip and he hasn't been home in a few days. He won't answer his phone. Just dropped off the grid completely. So I'm on my way to fetch Sammy and thought maybe you'd wanna help us out looking for him. You know, for old times sake." He told her, praying she'd say yes.
"Oh, wow. Uh, I'll meet you at Stanford, yeah? I'm on my way." She told him. She heard him sigh, most likely in relief.
"Thanks, Sweetcheeks. You're an angel."
"I wouldn't go that far." She chuckled.
"Yeah, You're right. I'll see you in a few hours."
"Okay and Dean?"
"Yes?"
"It's all gonna be okay." She told him.
"I hope so. See you." He almost whispered, then hung up.
"Well looks like I found something, Old Man." She looked over at her father.
"What's going on? Why are you meeting Dean at Stanford? Is Sam alright?" He loaded her with questions
"Sam is fine dad. John is missing. Dean says he went on a hunt and never came back. Won't answer his phone or nothing." She told him.
"Well you better go. Be careful, Copeland." He told her walking over to hug his only daughter.
"I will, Dad. I love you." she told him, hugging him back.
"You too, Cope."
She ran to her car and hopped in. It would take her nearly a whole day to arrive..but knowing her driving she'd make it there in half the time.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------By the time she had reached her location she decided to check into a hotel to rest for a few hours but not before calling the oldest Winchester brother to check in.
