Operation Javier: 4.2

                                    

                                          
"What is this?" Krauser asked in awe as he had never seen such a huge array of plants.
                          
"It's a greenhouse," Manuela answered.
                          
"More like a botanical garden," Krauser continued. Krauser looked in shock as a plant bigger than a human in the middle caught his attention. "What the hell is that?!" Krauser looked in shock, yelling and complaining at the same time when he noticed the same reptiles with blades attached to their hands once again. "What?! Not again!" He grumbled. 
                          
It jumped down, shaking the ground due to its height and moved towards them carefully, its blades at the ready. The duo aimed at its twitching muscles that was exposed carefully before they pulled the trigger. The monster staggered backwards, growling in pain while the duo continued to shoot at its weak spot and it was seen growling in despair, falling onto the ground. 
                          
"Come on!" Manuela spoke, beckoning them to move when Krauser spoke.
                          
"Leon, look!" Krauser said in shock, pointing at a body in a small bush on their right. Leon looked at the body for a few seconds before he identified the body.
                          
"That's the former researcher from Umbrella. Shit, we needed to question him," Leon growled slightly.
                          
"Well, he's no good to us now..." Krauser replied and the trio continued to walk below the metal catwalk. "We have no choice. We gotta go up," Krauser suggested, looking at the road below. It was blocked by plantation.
                          
Leon walked quickly but carefully, aiming his pistol at the catwalk in case anything showed up. As soon as the trio managed to reach the top, Leon looked back at the entrance to make sure that there was nothing behind them. Out of the blue, a creature growled and landed onto the catwalk once Leon turned his head back, startling him. However, his instincts forced him to leaping back to avoid the attacks from the toad-like creature. He pulled the trigger a few times but instead, sparks flew out from the catwalk with the monster landing onto the platform smoothly without harm. Krauser shot at the monster, instantly killing it with a few shots. 
                          
"Look out!" Manuela yelled. The trio rushed immediately to the front and leapt onto the ground. Something heavy crashed behind them, tearing the catwalk into half and the scraps of metal were below them now. Leon looked at the torn platform that was just behind them, still lying down but he leapt to his feet and ran as soon as the reptile-like monster jumped onto the platform to face the trio. Krauser dragged Manuela, dragging her along while they evade the monster that continue to chase after them. 
                          
"We need to get outta here!" Leon yelled, sending a few bullets to the creature, only to bounce of its skin. Leon stood still this time, aiming carefully and shot its twitching muscle that is exposed, knocking the creature off its feet before it died.
                          
The trio then proceeded to walk down the catwalk with Leon and Krauser popping in a fresh set of magazine. As soon as they walked down the catwalk and reached the bottom, the squishy sound that came from the mutated plants was heard, forcing the trio to turn to their right.
                          
"I remember these guys," Krauser spoke in disgust, moaning in dread while they shot at it. The plant hissed as it bent backwards, launching its long arms at Krauser. He moved backwards, dodging the arms that acted like a whip before he continued to shoot at them. It hissed in pain while their body was filled with bullets before they fell down, motionless.
                          
Krauser took the lead, walking in front while Leon guarded the rear for Manuela. Krauser opened the door, leading to a tight stone corridors. The stone grey walls, along with a few boxes were decorating the area. "You okay?" Leon asked to check on Manuela.
                          
"Yes," she replied softly. Leon pressed the button, forcing the mouths of the elevator to open for them before they entered the square metal walls and closed it. The elevator made its way up noisily, sounding like a vacuum cleaner before it opened for them.
