Riley is awoken by Maya laying on top of her. 
Maya - Where have you been? I was worried about you! Why didn't you answer my calls and text! Where did you go? 
Riley - I fell asleep in the park on a bench. 
Maya - I'm sorry what? 
Maya says this while she's laughing
Riley - I was going to your house and I accidentally fell asleep
Maya - well why were you going to my house? I told you I was going to come over after my date
Riley - how was it?
Maya - it was kind of weird at first. Kind of like the first time we went out on a date. But then we both started getting comfortable with each other. While we were on the date I figured out something.
Riley - what?
Maya - I don't like him like that.
Riley - you don't?
Maya -No. I mean I thought I did, but I just really like making fun of him.
Riley - did you talk to him about this?
Maya - yeah. That's the part when we started getting comfortable with each other. I like him as a friend, it's Josh that I like, like.
Riley - Maya, how many times do we have to tell you, you can't date Josh, his like 30.
Maya - I know that. That's why we both said we'd wait for each other. 
Riley - So what did Lucas say?
Maya - He feels the same way. He doesn't like me that way, he just didn't want to be mean to me. Like the way I am to him.
Riley - Well I'm glad that you guys worked things out.
Maya - Me too, so come on we gotta get you ready
Riley - For what?
Maya - YOUR date honey.
Riley - Oh crap, I forgot about Alex.
Maya - well, we still have a couple of hours until he comes and picks you up, so come on.
Maya and Riley spend the rest of the day getting Riley ready for her date.
                          
Zay and Lucas are walking to Farkles house, it's guys night. They think it's important to have at least one night without the girls. 
Zay - So Maya doesn't like you like that?
Lucas - Nope, and boy am I relieved.
Zay - so are you finally going to tell Riley how you feel about her?
Lucas - it's too late now, she's dating guys
Zay - she's dating ONE guy
Lucas - yeah and that ONE guy is better looking, more athletic, and smarter than I am. And let's not forget about the time he completely humiliated me at football tryouts.
Zay - Yeah, he may be better than you. But he doesn't know Riley the way you do. And he doesn't care about Riley the way you do.
Lucas - What if she turns me down
Zay - Why are you so scared?
Lucas - I just don't want to loose her. I want her to be in my life forever. And I'm afraid that if she doesn't feel the same way, nothing will ever be the same.
Zay - I think you should confess your love for her, but hey if you don't want to, I'll respect that
Lucas - I just have to think really hard about this. I just don't want to loose her.
                          
Back at Rileys house. Smackle just arrived to hang out with Maya while Riley goes on her date. The doorbell rings and Maya and Riley go running to the living room, where they find Mrs. Mathews and Mark already talking to Alex.
Riley - Okay bye mom, I'll be back by curfew! 
Topanga - Wait Riley!
Before she can say anything Riley and Alex are already out the door. 
Maya - Don't worry Topanga, I made sure to sneak in protection into her purse.
Topanga - OUT!
Maya - Okay okay okay. I love you 
Maya blows Topanga a kiss and she laughs at Maya. Maya and Smackle leave the apartment and decide to make a little stop somewhere. 
Smackle - I don't think we should go uninvited.
Maya - Oh come on, "guys night". That is the dumbest thing I've ever heard. I cant believe that they think we hang out with them too much.
Smackle - we kind of do.
Maya - Yeah because we're friends. That is what friends do, they hang out all of the time.
We'll just stop by and see what they're doing, then we can leave okay?
Smackle - Fine.
Smackle and Maya walk over to Farkles to see the guys. 
                          
Meanwhile Riley and Alex are walking together.
Alex - Who was that guy with your mom?
Riley - That's... a friend of hers.
Alex - Boyfriend?
Riley doesn't say anything, she just looks at the floor
Alex - It's okay, I went though the same thing 4 years ago.
Riley - What?
Alex- Yup. My parents split up and my father got a new girlfriend.
Riley - How long did it last?
Alex - Unfortunately, it's still going on.
Riley - oh...
Alex - But, I see the way that my father is with my step mom and I'm happy for them. They treat each other really good, and they're always so happy.
Riley - My parents have been together since they could walk. It's just weird seeing them not together, seeing my mom with that man. 
Has your step mom ever... said or done anything that was inappropriate?
Alex - What? Like ground me or something?
Yeah sometimes, but I respect her.
Riley - right...
Alex - it'll get better Riley, it might not seem like it will right now, but just give it time.
Alex smiles at Riley and for the first time she feels wanted. Alex puts out his hand for Riley to hold, she thinks about it for a second and holds it. They contained walking to their destination. Rileys not.. sad for once.
