(Kid Clay x kid Jestro)

The night had come quietly after the prolonged practices of that day, almost eternal for most of the students who waited anxiously for the day come to end. Or at least mostly of them.

The moon had already gone, bringing with it the calm of the night, once it had taken its place next to the bright stars of the firmament, shining over the window near the bed of the aspiring knight and swordsman. He slept peacefully, once having finished his studies for that night, the book of silver and blue covering that rested on the sheets, very close to the boy, was a proof of it.

Everything seemed calm that night, until a constant pounding broke the comforting silence. Clay ignored him the first time; perfectly it could be some animal or the blowing of the night wind, as it used to happen in other occasions. Even so, the sound was heard again, this time in a more hurried and even violent way, managing to wake him up between yawns. Sleepily, the boy looked up at the door, where the constant sound didn't seem stop. There was someone on the other side of the door.

Taking a quick glance at the clock on his nightstand, he finally sighed, it was almost three in the morning... Who wanted to see him at such an hour?

Still tired, he got up from under the sheets. Taking slow and a bit clumsy steps while he rubbing his eyes, once having left the "Knight's code" on the table, close to the digital clock. Now in front of the door, it opened automatically.

Without time to talk or at least react, he ended up falling abruptly to the floor, feeling the newcomer's grip around his waist. After the sudden fall, he opened his blue eyes already accustomed to the light coming from the lighted passageway next to his room, easily recognizing the person who clung to him.

-Jestro!? – he raised his voice a little, With a confused expression and at the same time surprised -. What are you...? -Clay suddenly stopped, noticing the shuddering trembling of his little friend.

-Don't go... -he moaned in a fragile voice, hug him tight -. Don't go... -he repeated. Keeping his face on the chest of Clay's blue t-shirt, his t-shirt began to get moisten with Jestro's tears.

-Jestro, calm down -the blue-eyed boy said softly, leaving his concern exposed. The little juggler was too distressed, that was what scared him, he often had to be the one to calm him or stop his tears when he needed a support, but he never had seen him act that way. Trembling and crying from what seemed to be fear, repeating the same words as before, almost unconsciously with a painful tone.

"Don't go, don't go"

Clay approached him, rubbing his head gently -It's all right, calm down, I'm here -he tried again to calm him, even a little, rubbing his back, without getting much advance.

A few minutes passed until the young green-eyed boy calms down. The apprentice of knight never left him; he didn't want to do it. He knew very well they couldn't stay there for so long, with the door open the sobbing of the kid wouldn't be ignored; they would get in trouble if a teacher or student found them awake at that hour and in the middle of the main hall next to the bedrooms.

Trying to be careful, with Jestro once calm, the light-brown haired boy wrapped the younger's waist with his arm, he did the same with his legs, surprising the juggler. He didn't move at all, but he could feel his wet cheeks begin to warm, when the boy in blue clothes had lifted him off the floor, carrying him in his arms just like a bride.

-Gah! What are you doing!? Don't think nonsense! -he reproached himself mentally, feeling the heat start to spread all over his face, grateful that Clay hadn't been able to hear him at that moment...
