Part 28 - Reader's Thoughts

                                    

                                          
I wanna add that yes these characters are you and you decide on the hair color and eye color of yourself.
                          
Reader is on her journey alone, she accepted a job that takes 2 years, but she's knows she can finish half the time. Her magic has become stronger and stronger with every job she went on.
Her light path lead her to Fairy Tail in the first place, that's where she belongs. Reader thought.
                          
As reader walks, she looks back on those 6 years since since they been told by the magic council the island was destroyed and there was no survivors. It hit her hard when they were told they weren't coming back.
It felt like the time she came out of hiding after her parents hid her, and no one was no where to be seen. She was scared and sad. She cried for her parents for weeks. When her emotions got the best of her, her magic manifested out of her body so she had to always calm herself down. When she had her feelings under control she decided to find a new home. 
So after that day under the tree with Romeo, she decided to put on a brave face for him and the other members. Every time she was inside the guild hall, she would imagine Levy sitting with Jet and Droy. Lucy with Natsu and Grey getting ready to fight as Juvia watched Grey with admiration. Cana drinking her booze. Gajeel watching Levy with Pantherlily. Master sitting on the bar counter. Mira smiling next to master. Erza stopping Grey and Natsu. Wendy running up to her with a big smile. The thunder legion joking around with her and annoying Freed even though he secretly enjoyed those moments. That's why she took so many jobs, to not be at the guild so much to be reminded.
When she would feel herself wanting to shed a tear, she would leave the guild, no light path or else Romeo would follow.
That gap where there was no master at Fairy Tail took a toll on keeping the guild hall. The guild Twilight Ogre keeps harssing the guild whenever she's gone, because the first time, reader knocked them all out.
A lot of people been trying to see her whenever she's in a town but she doesn't let anyone see her, cause when they do, they brag how they can finally see Halleys comet, it kind of annoys her. Reader is sure Sting was the one who spread the rumor around about her. Sting has always been trying to get reader into Sabertooth since he felt her power fighting Rouge. It got worse when he heard about Fairy Tail having a smaller guild. Sting wants to be with reader romantically but reader hasn't liked anyone as much as she liked Laxus.
She figured Laxus had to be on Tenrou when it disappeared cause her magic was always the same whenever she tried to use light path. It would scatter when she asked about the tenrou team or Laxus.
Reader was like an older sister to Romeo and an aunt to  Asuka. They were the reason reader wanted the guild to keep running. She didn't want them to lose a home like she did. So she helped Macao keep up with payments even though she's pretty sure they already finished paying off Twilight Ogre.
She knows everyone else feels the same way when it comes to thinking about the wizards they've lost that day 6 years ago. When reader was 13, she now 19 turning 20 soon but she'll be away from home during that time. She'll head back home once she's 20, that's the finish goal she set on this job she's taking.
                          
Reader is finally at her destination.
"So let's get this job started, I set a due date to finish and I aim to keep it." she says.
"If you finish by half of the 2 years, I'll pay you double!" says the one who requested the job.
"Oh I'm counting on it." says reader as she leaves to start the job.
                          
It was within a year, before readers birthday.
"Done and done!" she says as she finished her job with the evidence she had to require.
"I can't believe you actually finished less than 2 years!" says the requester.
"What can I say? I'm good. I could've been done earlier but like I said, I had a due date to keep haha so pay up." says reader.
"Here I thought Fairy Tail was one of the weaker guilds."
"Well you thought wrong. I'll be going home now." Reader says as she leaves her finished job to head home, back to Fairy Tail.
