With trembling knees and flushed cheeks, Andy tried her best to make sense of all the rumbled thoughts in her mind to come up with an answer.
What does she want?
A relationship? A label? Anything but a professional commitment?
God knows it's everything she had ever wanted. Two years. Two hell torturing years had she been concealing her emotions to the point that it had piled up too much for her own little heart.
But does she really want to have a relationship with a k-idol?
Does she really want to take the risk?
Sure, having a secret relationship with a hot-ass korean idol is no doubt thrilling. Perhaps, she can handle not being able to go out in public, she prefers to have dates at home watching movies and cuddling, anyways. But the insecurity.. The anxiety of knowing that there are always someone—plenty, in fact—that are much prettier, sexier, more talented girls than her. Celebrities. Models. Idols. Girls that are actually on the same level as Sehun, and not some low-life personal assistant like her. The insecurity.. that, she can't handle.
Besides, what does he even feels about her? What was all these intense moments for?
And if he does feel something for her, why make a move now? When she already decided to forget and move on?
She rumaged through these thoughts to find an answer as she stared at Sehun's eyes.
And there, she found it.. for his eyes glowed with hope.
"I-I want.." she whispered, not breaking her gaze.
"I.. I want an assurance.."
Her voice was barely audible, laced with worry that his ears didn't miss.
"I want to know if you're serious about this.. I want to know if you're sure.. That.. That you're not toying with me.. That this isn't just teasing.. I want to know if you'll stick with me.."
Suddenly feeling breathless after finally voicing out her feelings, Andy took deep breaths as she continued to stare at his orbs.
Sehun let out a satisfied sigh, unaware that he had been holding his breath that long.
It wasn't just Andy feeling a little insecure, for he was, too.
He was terrified that no one would and could accept a relationship with him. He was cautious to put his trust to just anyone because he knew some people may just use his popularity for their own personal matters.
But not her. Not Andy.
"Angel, my whole life I have not been so sure about anything else but this. And if anything, I should be the one asking if you'll stick with me.." he responded.
His eyes were filled with so much sincerity causing her heart to leap in joy.
"Why would I not?" without thinking clearly, the words just slipped out of her mouth.
He can't help but chuckle as his hand went up to caress her burning cheek, "well, because I'm an idol."
It only took one word for Andy to pull herself back to reality. Of course, he's an idol! And not just some idol, an internationally fcking popular one! And she's just his personal assistant, an errand girl, an employee.
She immediately looked away, suddenly conscious of their proximity.
"Right.. Of course.. Y-you're an idol.." she mumbled feeling her chest tightening.
