Chapter 32: Blind Frustration
— Liam POV —
It’s not everyday that I feel like punching my best friends, actually it doesn’t happen ever. I’m not a violent person but this has been going on long enough.
Everyday I see Harry moping around and it makes me so frustrated that he doesn’t just go and see her and tell her how sorry he is so they can kiss and makeup. Everyone knows that she’ll forgive him. Or at least we all hope that she’ll forgive him.
“Why are they so blind!” I groan and I flop onto the sofa.
“You know, muttering to yourself is a definite sign of madness.” Sophia says as she round the corner of my apartment.
“But they’re being so stupid!” I whine to her. It’s pretty obvious who I’m raging about anyway because who else do we know that could be more annoying than Hope and Harry.
“Some could argue that you act stupid too.” She fires back and I glance at her quizzically.
“Why are you defending them right now?” I ask her, confusion evident in my voice. She sighs deeply flicking her eyes away from mine and then back.
“I guess I understand on some level. They’ve both been hurt and they just need time to sort through themselves. This past year they’ve grown so close and so dependant on one another. Can you imagine suddenly being torn apart. They go to eat other for everything and suddenly there’s no one to talk to. Also how Harry must be feeling. You know what he’s like when someone promises him something, especially with those he loves. And then Hope, who was probably really hurt, more by the fact that no one even told her and it took away everything special about her night.” She looks at me then, her eyes growing deeper the more I look. “it isn’t always as simple as we make it out to be.” Then she gets up ad retreats back into another room in the apartment leaving me with a fuller mind than the one I started out with before our talk.
Despite Sophia’s attempt at calming my anger at Hope and Harry, I still don’t understand why they don’t just talk to each other. Talk about all the things that Sophia said could be bothering them, instead of continuing this ludicrous facade they both have going on where they can live separately from one another. It’s infuriating.
In all honesty I know that they will come to their senses. The only question now is who will be the one to finally break their silence.

A/N: ok so I know this one is really short, but it's only a filler to give you a little looksie at how everyone else sees their predicament. Just stay with me for a few more chapters and then it'll all be over! Then maybe I'll finally get around to editing it!
