Jenns POV
I survived a month without him,and my first day at work.it has been a welcome distraction,the time has flown by in a haze of new faces.
"Excellent work,jenn.i think we're going to make a great team" I'm blown out of my thoughts.
Alexander white...he smiles down at me,as he leans against my desk.
"I'll be off,if that's okay with you?" I murmur.
"Of course,you've done a grand job today.ill see you tomorrow"
"Goodnight Alexander"
"Goodnight jenn"
And with that I shrug on my jacket and head for the door out in the early evening air of Los Angeles,I take a deep breath and start to make my way towards the bus station.as I get into my car,I shut the door and flip out my keys to the ignition.I'm lost in plane sight,I promised myself that I wouldn't cry,not out here.not in the streets of Los Angeles.it was his choice not mine,and I didn't make it for him.then there's still this void in my chest,and I don't know how or if I could fill it.
Ring.ring
The sound of my phone begins to fill my ears,I reach into my pocket and press accept.
"Hello?"
"Hey,jenn are you busy tonight?" The familiar voice booms through the other side of the line.
Aaron...
Aaron was the new boy at sliders high,he came in about two weeks ago and has been my very good friend since then.he has a bright smile that can make anyone happy.he has so much life inside of him,and I needed him at this point cause he is the only one who I can actually talk to,he's also a very sweet,sensitive and genuine human being.
"What do you have planned?" Somehow,I manage to curl my lips upward in a semblance of a smile.
I could hear him chuckle on the other side of the line "well that,is a surprise" he says,I could feel a smile appear on him face.
"If it involves murder,kidnapping,or breaking into a entering then I'm gonna have to bail carpenter" I respond.
"Chill Lamont,it doesn't involve any of that.meet me at my house at 7:30 sharp" and with that he hangs up without saying anything else.

As I walk up to the steps of Aaron's house,I bring my knuckles to the surface of the door and knock three times.a few moments later,i begin to hear footsteps behind the door.meaning someone knew I was behind it,before they could open it I flip out my phone to check what time it was.
7:28pm.
Before the door opens,I hear a familiar voice booms in the other side of it.
"What's the secret password?"
"Aaron,it's cold outside!"
"Nahh,that's not it" he replies
"Aaron!i will beat the shit out of you if you don't let me in!" I yell
With that he slowly opens he door with a smirk playing on his lips.
"Dick" I murmur as I walk past him.
"Ouch"he responds while he scratches his elbow with his right hand.
"Over Here my lady" he guides me upstairs as his hand is on my lower back.
As we enter his bedroom,I run and jump on his bead as I always do.he then walks up to his computer desk and makes himself comfortable in his chair.
"So what are you moaning and groaning about Aaron?" I say,turning my full attention towards him.
"Before I do,can I ask you a serious question first?" He responds.
"Yeah sure what is it?" I mutter as I start to glide my hand through my hair.
"Ca-can you go on a d-date with me?"he stammered while his cheeks started to turn red.
"Are you sure Aaron?we have only known each other for two weeks"i reply.
"You know what,never mind.i wa-was joki-" before he could finish I interrupt him.
"Of course I want to go on a date with you" I respond,as I walk up to him.he looks up at me with a big smile and puts his arms around my waist.i then begin to slide my fingers into his curly brown hair.
"Now I'm happy" he says in a low sweet voice.as were in the moment I feel my phone vibrating on my skin,meaning someone was calling me.
"Hello?" I smile,as I hold the phone up to my ear.
"Hey,jenn" a familiar voice begins to fill up my ears.
The smile I had on my face was no longer there,the void that was inside of me widened.for once I felt like I was happy but that happiness blew away.
