There was once a girl,
Who was told she was special, who was loved
She had no a care in the world
Who always wore a smile on her faceBut society got to her, reality hit
She realised she was different, she didn't fit
She grew upTalking up, keeping quiet, she tried all things to belong
Eventually she gave up, she tried all things to forget
Erase all the taunts and laughter,
Ease the pain and pressureShe started to shoulder every worry, every burden
She started a flame of destruction in her garden
She no longer smiled or laughed
Happiness couldn't enter her heartShe tried to be a better person
But no one cared of her reason
Somehow always getting blamed for treason
People chose not to believe her truth
They listened to the lies of other youthsAfter all they are smarter
Prettier
Fitter
Friendlier
More in lined with society's demandShe just wants her voice to be heard
Someone to lean on, someone to listen
But who would even care about a nobody, when they rather be with a somebodyProbs deleting this... I don't know. I'm not really thinking straight
