SONG MOMENTS

A list of small moments from Zeppelin songs that I really like. I don't know if other people ever get those moments where a song just sounds absolutely perfect for a split second, but here's some examples of what I'm trying to say that'll speak for themselves much better than I can speak for them. Try listening to some of these and comment if you know what I mean.

That section in The Ocean when all instruments cut out and it's just the humming-type vocals. (2:13-2:37), I love the harmonies especially.

The very last few seconds at the end of Page's guitar solo in Stairway just before 'And as we wind on down the road' comes in. (6:41-6:45), my favourite part of the solo and an entry to the next section that I can only describe as epic.

In Whole Lotta Love just after the theremin section where the guitar comes in again. (3:04-3:22), kind of like the Stairway one, a perfect introduction into the next part.

In Achilles Last Stand the vocals at (6:34-6:45), these give me chills.

The opening piano riff from Trampled Under Foot (0:00-0:07), always makes me smile and very fun to play.

The 'well well well's of In My Time Of Dying (1:31-1:48), this has always been my favourite part of the song.

There's one tiny section in No Quarter where the guitar and vocals literally blend absolutely perfectly (6:14-6:23) I don't really know how else to describe it, see if you can hear it too.

The backwards echo towards the end of When The Levee Breaks (6:15-end) is what makes the song so haunting.

The ghostly sounds at the beginning of In The Light

The Nobody's Fault But Mine vocal riff paired with the guitar (0:48-1:02) is amazing.

The highest shrieking guitar notes on Dazed And Confused

The vocal melody on 'Sixteen, fell in love with a girl as sweet as could be/only took a couple days 'fore she was rid of me' in Good Times Bad Times (0:55-1:16) is what made me fall in love with that song.

The stupidly/incredibly long vocal note halfway through Kashmir (4:11-4:27). Yes, that is all one note. You think its going to end then carries on for another 15 seconds...

'This is the place where no one goes' No Quarter, I love this lyric and melody so much I don't even know why.

Since I've Been Loving You 'cause I love you baby how I love you darling mama lived you girl yeah girl' (1:48-1:58), the crooning voice here is just...

Immigrant Song scream (0:08-0:17). I couldn't not include it.

The call and response with the voice and instruments in Black Dog, I remember loving this when I was little even though it was ages ago.

Candy Store Rock, the opening guitar part (0:00-0:12), again this gives me chills. If you listen to anything on here, listen to this, honestly this song is so underrated and the beginning is incredible.
