I've been keeping up appointments with Dr. Fraser, we talk about some things but she doesn't want to push me into what I'm not ready for.
At work I'm finally allowed to start going back out into the field but not completely, still it's better than not at all. 
Everyone is helping out when I need it and here to support each other. I'm not getting any worse at the moment so it's helping. 

                          
We have a new murder and head out to the scene and head inside the house to investigate. Maura looks over the body, Korsak and I look throughout the house while Frankie and Frost start the canvas. We head back to Mau for her to tell us female, early thirties with no physical signs of injuries I'll know more back at the morgue. 
                          
We talk about what we do know as we walk outside. It only takes a few moments outside in the heavy rain and suddenly I am right back in Afghanistan being tortured by those men. I flash through the time with no control over it. 
I snap out of it to see Frankie waving his hand in front of my face. I say "you can stop now"
Mau asks "what happened?"
I shake my head and say "I'm the car I'll tell you"
We all get into the same car and Korsak starts driving. I'm looking out the window and can feel them watching me and I say "I had a flashback that I couldn't control"
Frost asks "what caused it?"
I say "the rain, water I can't control sends me trapped in the memories"
Mau asks "what memories?"
I say "how do you torture someone who can deal with pain?"
Korsak says "no" with worry in his voice
Frankie asks "what do you know we don't Korsak?"
Korsak says "the main torture method for people who cope with pain is water boarding, close enough to almost kill you but they stop it before you can die"
Frost asks "how long?"
I say "three weeks"
Frankie asks "what, how did we not know?"
I say "I didn't say anything and the army doesn't want to tell people they lost a whole unit in enemy territory for three weeks"
Korsak says "we can continue this conversation later when we aren't working"

I'm am sorry about the wait. I haven't been that motivated to write lately and have not much time between university and work to get the chapters done. I know it's short but I just wanted to get something published.
