Being that it was Friday and the last day of school, Nico was hanging out with his friends after school. Usually, on Fridays, he would go straight to Jason's place, regardless of whether he was there or not. Given that he had company though, he was a little more hesitant about where to go. He shot Jason a quick text and he said it was fine if he brought them over, so the three friends were heading to the lower east side.
Luna and Theo had been to Nico's place a few times, so he had to explain why they were heading to a different place. Luna didn't mind, she loved Jason and always pestered Nico to formally introduce them. It was a little running joke that she had a crush on him.
They picked up some Chinese but made it over fairly quickly. When they finally made it to the door, Nico found himself relieved that Jason was working late. He didn't know why he was so nervous to have his significant other around his friends. Maybe it was the age difference or the whole demigod thing, but he was always a little hesitant to mesh those two sides of his life.
Jason's place was very much Nico's second home, and he acted like it. He dumped his stuff at the door and easily settled into the living room. At first, Theo and Luna were a bit hesitant, but after cracking open the food, they also settled in. The three friends had a great time, and Nico was beyond happy for that. He had never had any friends at all, so to have two "normal" human friends who just plain out liked him made him extremely happy.
It wasn't until late afternoon that they left, and drowsy from all the food and gossip, Nico fell asleep on the couch, thinking he'd wake up before Jason came home to clean up a bit.--
"Nico, wake up handsome,"
Nico opened his eyes to a pair of blue eyes smiling down at him. "Jason? What're you doing home?" He mumbled, stifling a yawn.
Jason leaned down and kissed him, "I got off early, but it's still 11 o'clock. Looks like you've been asleep for a while. How were your friends?"
"I'm sorry, I meant to clean up." He sat up and stretched as Jason stood up to put away his things. "We had fun. How was work? And Percy?" He added, remembering his boyfriend's morning rendezvous.
"Good," Jason called from the bedroom, "He was just updating me on some wedding stuff. Tux fitting tomorrow okay? Also, Hazel, Frank and...Piper are flying in soon."
Nico wandered into the bedroom and stood at the threshold. He caught Jason in his boxers as he changed out of his work clothes, and the sight was definitely something worth seeing. Jason noticed him and stopped changing.
"Piper?" Nico asked, trying to ignore Jason's chiseled chest. "We're okay with that...right? I haven't seen her in a while."
Jason nodded and walked over, snaking his arms around the other boy, "Yeah. I just thought I'd let you know. But enough about that, I missed you."
"It's only been like 13 hours" Nico murmured as Jason started kissing down his neck.
"That's 13 too many. If it was up to me, I'd stay home with you all day and never let you get dressed."
Nico drew in a sharp breath and pulled Jason's face up to kiss him heatedly, his hands roaming all over his chest. Jason didn't hesitate to pick him up and carry him to the bed and lay him down. In a matter of seconds, he had Nico's shirt off and was trailing kisses all over him. Nico was like putty in his hands, but he also wanted to feel every inch of him so he tugged his boxers off and slid down his body.
It was going to be a good weekend.

The next day, the boys had their tux fittings bright and early. Nico was hesitant to go so he lagged around the house as long as he could until Jason finally pulled him out. They were the last ones to arrive and walked into the shop to find Percy, Grover, and Leo already looking through the suits.
"...so we're leaving tomorrow." Jason heard Percy finish saying as they approached.
"Who's leaving? To where?" Jason asked, grinning at the boys. They all exchanged hellos and Jason blinked at Percy expectantly.
"Me and Annabeth," Percy sighed, "We're going on a 'quest' for Chiron to pick up a kid down in Maryland. It won't take long."
"You don't sound very excited." Nico pointed out from the couch.Percy sighed again. "Well, I'm not I guess. I'm only doing it because Annabeth wants to, and I don't really know why she does but that's something else. What about this?" He held out an ash gray jacket.
"I like it," Leo nodded, "Very chic."
The rest of the appointment went without any more mention of the looming quest, and it wasn't until everyone was checking out and Percy got a call, that it was brought back up. He came back into the room looking like he was about to dump a bucket of water on a sleeping giant.
"What's wrong bro?" Grover asked right away.
"So, Piper was supposed to fly in next week but she got in a fight with her boyfriend so she's on her way now. The thing is she was going to stay with me and Annabeth but we're about to leave and our landlord is real uptight about guests. So I was wondering is she could stay with anyone? She doesn't have enough money for a hotel at this late notice." He finished a bit sheepishly.
Leo grimaced, "Man I totally would but our place is practically a junkyard right now and we don't even have a couch for her to crash in. It's just not a good time."
"My living conditions probably aren't ideal for her," Grover shrugged.
Nico watched Jason carefully, and sure enough, he guessed his boyfriend's words before they came out of his mouth. "I mean...she could stay with me?" Jason hesitated, throwing Nico a brief glance, "I have a couch."
Percy breathed a sigh of relief, "Awesome, I'll let her know. It's only for a few days tops, I promise. Thank you so much."
--
Nico didn't say a word until they had finally made it back home. It was Jason who eventually spoke first. "Listen, Nico, don't be mad. I had to help her out. We're over but I still care about her."
"I'm not mad." He walked into the kitchen and opened the fridge aimlessly.
"Yes, you are. Nico, you have to know that there's nothing between Piper and I, you're the only one I love." He closed the fridge and slid in front it, "It'll only be for a few days. Nico...I was thinking about asking you to move in with me."
Nico's eye's snapped up, "What?"
"Yes. That's why I met with Percy the other day. To ask his opinion how best to ask." He sighed and crossed his arms, "I love you and you need to accept that."
Nico bit his lip nervously, "Okay, but I'm staying here the whole time she is."
"That's fine you loser," Jason grinned and leaned down to peck his lips.

Hey guys! So major update: I'm back lol. And this time I'm committed to finishing this. I always always start things and don't finish them but I'm tired of it. I just recently started and finished another story on another site (I KNOW) and that felt so good so like I'm back and determined to finish this one. I even wrote an outline. Stay woke for more updates and stuff. Comment to keep me motivated ;)
Also, the other story is a Twenty One Pilots story so if you're into them lmk! I'm considering posting it on here since it's already done.
