Dean could tell how much Cas was looking forward to Friday. They were planning on having Charlie, Sam, and Gabe over, and frankly, Dean was looking forward to it as well.
"Okay, so let's place our bets now. I think Gabriel's learning. He's going to be more subtle, and surprise attack Sam during dessert," Dean said, rolling over in their bed Thursday morning.
"You don't know Gabriel very well yet. He doesn't do subtle, he's mauling Sam as soon as he sees him," Cas told him, smiling.
"Do you think we should invite Angel?" Dean asked hesitantly. He didn't know if Cas was still uncomfortable about that.
"We should, why didn't I think of that? I want to meet her anyway," Cas said. Dean nodded.
"Well then it's settled. I'll ask her at work today. Speaking of which, I need to go," Dean said. Cas let out a grumble.
"I don't want you to go," he said.
"Well then inherit a large fortune and I won't have to," Dean said, kissing Cas on the nose. Cas just wrinkled his nose and burrowed into the blankets.

Friday afternoon, when Dean got home, Cas ran up to him.
"Dean, our couch pillows don't match!" He exclaimed. Dean raised an eyebrow.
"I'm sorry, what? Our... pillows don't match? Are you a man or a soccer mom?" He asked, hugging Cas.
"A soccer mom," Cas mumbled into Dean's shirt.
"Well soccer moms cook," Dean said. Cas huffed.
"Yeah, yeah, I can't cook for crap, laugh it up," he muttered. Dean let him go and they walked into the kitchen.
"Can I do anything to help?" Cas asked as Dean went around the kitchen gathering things.
"Just stand there and look cute," Dean said.
"That's a no, Dean. I'm not your cheerleader," Cas said, smiling.
"I bet you'd be sexy in a cheerleader outfit, though," Dean said, winking. Cas blushed.
"Okay, if you say anything like that while we have guests, I will destroy you," Cas said. Dean chuckled.
"You can't take me," he said.
"I could leave," Cas said, raising his eyebrows and trying to look threatening. Dean stopped getting everything ready and looked at Cas.
"Don't say that. Please. I know you're joking, but... that would kill me," Dean said. Cas' face softened.
"I won't ever leave you, Dean. I promise," he said. Dean nodded then quickly went back to preparing.
"Dean, I appreciate that you want to get a jump on the food, but I beg you, please take a shower first," Cas said after a few seconds.
"Are you saying I smell?" Dean asked, pretending to be offended.
"Yes, I am," Cas replied, grinning.
"Well you're probably right." Dean glanced around the kitchen. "I think I have time."
"Yes, go, I'll watch the food," Cas said.
"Don't watch it too closely, you might burn it," Dean joked.
"How many cooking jokes are you going to put me through?" Cas asked. Dean held up his hand and pointed to the ring.
"You signed up for this," he said, smiling. Cas rolled his eyes.
"Well one day I'm going to find something you're bad at, Dean Winchester, and you will never hear the end of it," Cas said. Dean walked over and gave Cas a quick kiss.
"Well, Castiel Winchester, I look forward to it."
