*Lin's POV*

I had just got back from a day out with my son. Renée was leaving as I was coming in. Pippa guides me to the couch and sits me down.

She grabs my hands and looks at me.

"We need to talk" those words sat heavy with me. I couldn't tell her tone. I couldn't tell anything. Everything fell still. Everything froze.

I managed to nod.

"Lin, Renée helped me realize something. She helped me see that since we're gonna be welcoming a baby in six months, we're gonna need some room.. and let's face it, this place is really small. But, our apartment back in New York is more than big enough."

I nodded with a furrowed brow.

"Amélie is Broadway bound, and quite frankly, I don't really like L.A. That much. You would have more work back home.."

I scratched my head.

"What I'm trying to say is, can we move back home?"

I had to take a minuet to process things. This wasn't a negative. It was a positive. It would be okay.

She was right. Kids take up a lot of room and this place only has 3 rooms.

"Yes"

I saw her face light up with a huge smile and she threw her arms around me.

"Thank you thank you! I love you so much!"

I smiled and hugged her back.

"I'll call some people to pack our things."

*few hours later*

We were sitting on the couch, and I had my arm around Pippa's shoulders, while she had a hand resting on her bump.

Sebastian was sitting on the floor in front of us and he turned around to face us.

"Mommy, you've been eating lots donuts.." he said as he pointed to her abdomen.

Pippa and I shared a laugh. She reached over and pulled him up and set him in between us.

"Actually, Sebby, there's a baby in here!" She said grabbing his hand and putting it on her bump.

"You're going to be a big brother in December!" I said with a smile.

"There's a baby in mommy's tummy?? Did she eat it?" He asked scared.

Pippa laughed again. "No, I didn't eat it, that's where babies live for a little while"

He giggled and rubbed the bump.

"Hi baby!" He yelled to it. Pippa and I laughed.

He soon got bored and jumped back down.

*that night*

After I set Seb down, I headed towards my bedroom.

I smile as I see Pippa sitting in the bed, scrolling through Twitter.

"Hey beautiful" I said as I climbed in next to her.

She smiled and looked up from her phone.

"Hey"

I gave her a peck on the lips and laid down.

She laid down and curled into my side.

"I'm excited to go back to New York." I said as I rubbed her back.

She smiled sweetly and nodded.

"Me too. It feels more like home, and besides, everyone is there"

I nodded.

"Just two more days, love"
