Chapter twenty one

                                    

                                          
the next day...
                          
Moana stretched out her arms as the sun peeked in through the window blinding her "Maui?" She said turning around only noticing a small note laying on her bed. 
                          
Moana started to feel nerves knot into a ball in her stomach, she reached over and opened the letter. 

                          
Moana, 
                          
I don't know how to put this into words, these past few years that I spent with you where amazing... going on different adventures, sailing to different lands and just being able to do this with you. 
                          
Seeing you last night as you laid by my side sleeping so tight as I held you...... Moana I love you with all my heart but I have to leave there is some things in my life I have to sort out. Before I left I kissed you're cheek and it felt horrible to leave you. 
                          
Moana I left because as I said I have things to sort out please don't follow or look for me because you won't find me, this isn't the last you have seen of me. 
                          
Moana a year from now I shall return, wait for me until then please I cannot tell you why I have left but know this I will return and we will be together I promise you that my princess
                          
From Maui Demi god. 
                          
Moana finished reading the letter as she sat it down rubbing her kissed cheek, "a year from now?" She said out aloud. 
                          
"I will wait for a year" Moana said as she put her anger aside as it wouldn't help Moana would wait for a year to this day for Maui to return because she loved him that much. 

                          
9 months later 
                          
A crying noise came from the window as Moana rushed towards the sound of a baby crying, as she reached the window Keoki and Kiko held a baby boy in their arms as the baby cried. 
                          
"Kiko Keoki he's beautiful" Moana said as she rushed in beside Kiko, just then the baby grabbed hold of Moana's hand "mo mo" the baby said.  
                          
"I think he likes you Moana" Kiko said as the baby watched her with his big brown eyes, oh how Moana wished it was Maui and her laying their with a new born baby jealousy struck Moana. 
                          
"He's beautiful" Moana said tears starting to form, "Moana are you okay?" Kiko said said to her new best friend. 
                          
"Yes I'm fine", kiko and Moana had became close friends this year even after what had happened after her and kiko. 
                          
Keoki and kiko had married and already where having their first child, and what was Moana doing waiting for Maui to return to her not a day going by that she didn't miss him. 
                          
"What are you going to call him?" Moana said, "well I was thinking kona starting with a k for Keoki and ona for Akona" kiko smiled. 
                          
"I love it" boasted keoki as he kissed kiko, while their baby smiled they looked like a happy family. 
                          
Later on 
                          
It was nearly dark by now in mun tanui as the fire lights came on, Moana walked along the shore line. 
                          
Moana stopped and sat down gathering all of her thoughts, it's almost been a year now this day next week is when Maui is suppose to return Moana thought lost in her mind. 
                          
Moana had thought about finding where Maui had gone but he told Moana in his letter not to find him and for some reason Moana had a gut instinct to do as he told of her even if she refused to. 
                          
The wind swayed on Moana's skin, as the waves crashed over the rocks and the full moon beamed. 
                          
Moana laid down on the cool sand feeling it's coolness.
