Song of the Chapter: Welcome to the jungle by Guns 'n' Roses

I get out of Luke's car, that I stole for this morning life. I grab my bag and throw it over my shoulder.

It's two in the morning, I'm pretty sure he wont be needing his car. Plus I'll have it back to him before he knows it was even gone.

I start walking, I stuff my hands in my beat up leather jacket. Which sometimes, I feel like this jacket knows me better then I know myself.

It's seen both sides, it's seen me hold a bottle of Jack in my left hand and hold a cigarette in the right. Without judging me.

I sigh and I shake my head to clear my thoughts. I finally reach my destination, and stare at the hole in the wall.

A literal hole in the brick wall that guarded the ally for the two buildings it was connected to. But both look like they are run down and lifeless.

From the outside anyway.

"Home, sweet home." I mumble to myself. I crawl through the opening, that people either try and climb through but get scared of the blackness and not being able to see, even if it's mid day. Or the other half people don't try because they already know who's habitat this belongs too.

The pitch blackness swallows me whole, but I already knew where I was going.

I walk in the dark, walking the path that was burnt into my mind at a young age. I finally reach the door that was in the middle of the left building. That was a round the corner with a faint light that flickered. I looked around in the dark like, I'm going to see anything out here. The light wasn't bright enough to light the whole sidewalk just the door entrance.

I knock on the door, forgetting my damn keys because I was too hurt and pissed to think about it.

A small window where a set of brown familiar eyes meet mine. "What... wild?" The voice asks
In disbelief.

I smirk up at him. "Hello Raven long time, no kick in the throat." I say earning an eye roll and a chuckle out of him.

"Yes it's been way too long." He says and then opens the door for me. I walk in and right into Raven's open arms. I usually never gave hugs to anyone here, they look up to me. I never showed my soft side.

But Raven, Nikki, and I go way back and I missed both of them very much.

I step into his embrace and gave him a squeeze before I stepped away. Raven looked down at me with a smile and I returned it with a small one. His smile drops into a frown, and mine disappears as well.

"You already figured it out didn't you?" I ask him and Raven gave me a look of 'duh'.

Raven notices everything, the way a person talks, the way they move, he goes with his gut instinct, that's never let him down before.

A little back ground, Raven's real name was Quincy or Quince and/or Q for short he despised the name and went by the name the group-mostly Me- gave him.

Because of him noticing everything, he got the nickname because of his gift. His hair was black with his skin tanner then mine. His brown eyes when irritated turn almost black. Q also was the tallest one out of all of us. Earning the name because Ravens are always watching above everyone, waiting to make there move.

Quince was a Raven.

"You bet your sweet ass I did, you wouldn't have come here without a rational thought in mind." He says crossing his arms.
