   "So I wanted to tell you... Jaxon, I- I can't do this anymore," I say holding back a tear. Jaxon looks at me in disbelief. I get a text from Megan. 
Megan: Remember, you want Jaxon to date me.
I look at Megan and she smirks. 
   "W-what?" Jaxon says to me. 
   "A-and I want you to date, Megan," I say. I blink back to tears. 
   "What did you just do?" Emma says. "You love him! You've been into him ever since Brandon dumped you!" 
   "I know, things just aren't working out," I tell Emma. Nothing I am saying right now is true. 
 "Brandon dumped y-you?" Jaxon asked.
   "Wait, this is NOT the Dawn I know! You hate Megan," Emma said with a look on her face I won't forget.
   "I- I do not hate anyone. But Jaxon would be better off with her," this is killing me inside. 
   "It's true!" Megan says. She walks over to Jaxon and kisses him on the cheek. Jaxon still has a blank expression on his face. He looks like he is lost in space. Another tear rolls down my face. Jaxon walks away. "Where are you going Jax-y?!" Megan says and chases after him. I turn around and put my head in my locker. I feel a hand on my back. I turn around and see Crystal and Hannah.
   "Why did you do that?" Crystal asks. I look at her, then Hannah. Then I look at how happy Cade and Emma are to be together. I can't help it. I start gushing out tears. I run to the rooftop and lost Hannah and Crystal. I cried and the sun was out. Jaxon must be really confused, and Emma must be shocked. I heard footsteps behind me and I saw Cade. 
 "C-Cade?" I say. He walks over to me and hugs me.
 "I always come up here to think, and I found you." Cade said wiping the tear off my face. 
 "It's just that Megan!" I said almost shouting.
 "Megan... what?" Cade asked.
 "She heard me and you talking about Emma yesterday and if I didn't tell Jaxon I didn't want him, she would tell Emma... and I choose other people's happiness over mine, so now we're here..." I say looking down to the grass below. 
 "Dawn... you didn't have to do that," Cade said. "Anyway, Emma would find out." 
 "But I didn't want it to be now." I said and used my sleeve to wipe my face.
 "Dawn... the reason why my relationship isn't working with Emma, is because we don't talk much anymore, and my heart is traveling... while hers wants to stay, but doesn't." Cade said. 
 "Wow... that's deep." I said chuckling.
 "I got it from a back of a cereal box." Cade said laughing. We both laughed and felt nice to have a smile.
 "See," Cade said. "That's what I wanted! A smile on your face." I smiled, but I wasn't ready to go back to class. Not with snot all up in my nose, my cheeks moist from tears, and my eyes puffy and red from crying. I don't know exactly why I cried, but I break under pressure. Like I bend my back so far back that it breaks and I stumble. Cade looked at me and I looked at him. The sun was going back into the clouds, and the wind was blowing my hair. There was an awkward silence, as I recollected my thoughts on things... on everything. Emma... she would probably know soon, and I didn't want to tell her. Well I started to have a list of things not to tell her. One, about Cade talking to me about breaking up with her, two Megan threatening me, and three, NOT telling her about Cade wanting to break with her, since she would find out eventually. Me and Cade got closer, and I was probably really little to him, since he's tall. We sat on the edge of the roof with our legs hanging down the building. He leaned in closer to my face and just like that... we kissed. His hand was on my chin and all my muscles went numb. I just kissed my best friend's boyfriend... I just kissed my best friend's boyfriend... I JUST KISSED MY BEST FRIEND'S BOYFRIEND! Well I knew I could add a number four to my list of things not to tell Emma...
