Chapter 4: A bunch of idiots

Start from the beginning

"Viktor!" I heard Emil called. Michele is behind him. "We're all going now!" he yelled.

"Yeah!" I said, then ran toward them.

Flashback end

I looked at my arm. The scratch is gone. It must have healed over time. Our body is like of humans, so that must be it. I yawned. "Ah...I must go to bed now. I have to be early tomorrow." I said, then went inside my room.

Morning.

"Good morn - woah!" I dodged when a plate is flying towards me. "You're late!" Minako said.

"Eh?" I said.

"For one minute." She said. I sighed, relieved. "Yuri..." she said and looked at Yuri.

"Yes, Minako - sensei?" he asked. I stared at him. He looked...bright?

"You teach Viktor on what he'd do. He has the same work as you." She said, then went to the register.

"Yes!" he said, then looked at me. "Uhm..." he said.

Yuko, Nishigori and Minako is looking at us. I felt conscious. What are they doing? I thought.

"Ah, Viktor." I said, then offered my hand. He must've forgotten my name since yesterday - "Nice to meet you - "

"Pfft." He said. "Ahahahahaha!" he laughed. The others laughed, too.

"Huh? What? What's happening?" I asked.

"Ah..." Yuri said, wiping the tears in his eyes. "You're funny." He said. "Let's go." He said and went outside first.

"Huh? What was that?" I asked. I looked at the others. They're laughing. "Hey, what was that now - "

"So that's how he'll play it." Nishigori said.

"Hahahaha.. Yuri. He's really ... what a nasty side of him." Minako said, then laughed.

"Ahahahaha. Minako - sensei... that's... true." She said, then chuckled. The three of them laughed again. "Viktor." She said. "Good luck." She said.

"Huh?" I said. Seeing they won't explain what's happening, I followed Yuri outside. 'Good luck'. Is it on my work? Or something - "Oww!" I cried when I almost tripped. "Oh, thanks - woah!" I exclaimed when I saw Yuri. He caught me. "Yuri?" I asked.

"Yes?" he asked, then smiled. Aww. He's so adorable like a little -

"Oww!" he dropped me. "What was that for?" I asked.

He turned his back to me. "So he's thinking I'm a kid, huh?" he muttered.

"What? What was that?" I asked, standing up.

"Ah, no." he said, turned toward me. "Nothing." He said, and smiled.

Still wondering what's going on, I just followed what he's doing. "By the way, Yuri. Do you know the way to the Central?" I asked. 'Central' is their what like the government building.

"Hmm?" he said. "Oh. That. Of course I know." He said.

"Really?" my face brightened.

"Yeah." He nodded, then turned his back. "But I won't tell you." He muttered.

"Huh? What was that?" I asked. He's been muttering a lot today.

"Oh! Seems like Yuko - san is calling us. We have to give her this." He said.

"Okay." I said, then carried the box full of ingredients and followed him.

"Okay. Good work today." Minako said. It's night and the shop is closed. Or so I thought. The restaurant in the morning turns into a bar at night. "Here." She said, and handed us beer.
