Disclaimer: so i know I said that i was ending this but im going to be honest with you all :) im really not ready to say goodbye to this story, im not ready to end it..its just too painful for me so im extending it. there is still so much i can write about and im also open to suggestions to :) thank you for all your support with this story! All the kids are asleep, well almost all of them. right now I'm in the nursery rocking Hadley. she won't go to sleep and won't let me put her down. I slowly got up and grabbed a blanket from our room and went back to the rocking chair. I laid it over us and just rocked back and forth, Hadley was wide awake, chewing on her soft book.
30 min later
I was on the verge of falling asleep, Hadley was asleep in my arms. I carefully got up and laid her in her crib and kissed her forehead. I turned on the nightlight and shut the overhead light off and headed back to our room. Rob was coming out of the shower.
"is she asleep?" he asked me
"yeah for now, but I have a feeling were in for a long night. she needs to adjust to not being woken up every 30 minutes or whatever"
"yeah." I climbed into bed next to Rob and wrapped my arms around him as we fell asleep.
30 min later
I woke up to Hadley crying, I got out of bed and threw my robe on as I made my way over to the nursery. I walked in and went over to the crib, Hadley's face was red and she was moving her head side to side trying to see something. "Hey, what's wrong baby?" I asked her as I picked her up and sat in the rocking chair with her. she laid her head on my shoulder as I rubbed her back. I carefully got up and took her downstairs and made her a bottle, after the bottle, she fell back asleep and I laid her back in the crib and went back to bed
45 min later
Hadley started crying again, I started to get out of bed but Rob turned over and kissed me.
"I've got her" he said. I laid back down and listened as her cries quieted down. I quickly fell asleep, I woke up again when I felt the bed dip and Rob climbed in wrapping his arms around me and we both fell asleep.
6:30am
Rob and I took turns with Hadley until about 4 am because she has been up every 30-45 minutes. all the sudden she stopped crying. I woke up and grabbed my robe and went to the bathroom, I decided to check on Hadley while I was already up. I headed over to the nursery and opened the door. what I saw was beyond adorable and I knew exactly why Hadley had not gotten us up in hours. Peyton was in Hadley's crib cuddling her with her, she had her arms around her and Hadley was cuddled into her side. I went back to our room and grabbed my phone off the nightstand and took a pic. I went back to our room and woke Rob up

"Hey," I said while gently shaking him, he stirred and opened his eyes
"is everything ok?" he asked
"yeah but you need to see something!"
he got out of bed and put his shorts on, I led him to the nursery. he stood there in awe in the sight before him
"wow" he whispered
"yeah, I came to check on her because she hadn't gotten us up in a couple hours and then I saw this."
"she just wants to be cuddled that's why she hasn't cried in a couple hours because she has her sister with her"
"yea"
8am
Peyton came downstairs and came up to me,
"Hey, you were cuddling with your sister this morning"
"yeah, momma!"
"can I ask you why?"
"cuz I heard her crying most the night and you and daddy were with her and so I wanted to give you a break."
"thanks, hun, she just wanted to be cuddled"
"yep!!!"
"you want something to eat?"
"pwease?"
"of course, come on."
I went to the kitchen and got Peyton some breakfast and then headed up to the nursery. Elias and Hadley were both awake, I went and picked Hadley up with one arm and Elias with the other and headed downstairs. I laid them both on the floor and went to the kitchen and made a couple bottles, Elias started fussing as I was finishing making the bottles. Rob came downstairs and I handed him a bottle, he fed Hadley while I fed Elias. When both babies had been fed and burped I laid down on the couch and laid Elias on my chest and rob got onto the floor with Hadley.
"So we need to figure out something"
"what?"
"I talked to Peyton and she said that she could hear every time Hadley cried and that's why finally she went and cuddled her."
"well if Peyton doesn't mind maybe she could sleep with Hadley at night, keep her calm"
